Maybe decide which parent you are more comfortable talking too! Then ask them if you can talk to them about something that is important! Tell them how you are feeling! Just be honest about it! If they care about you...which I am sure they do...they will take you to your doctor! Try explaining when you get down! And really focus on when you are happy...like what makes you happy! Write in a journal about the things that made you happy! And write in your journal about what made you feel down! Be honest in your book! Sometimes when you write how you exactly feel...knowing that noone else will read it...will speak out loud what is really upsetting you! But if you are ready for help just sit them down and tell them how you feel, and ask them for their help! Good luck hun!

A clinically depressed person has a hard time functioning. She doesn't want to get up, get going with her day, isn't motivated to take care of herself or her responsibilities and hardly ever finds happiness in anything. It is common to be sad when you are a social person and find yourself alone and bored. But, if you feel the need to see a doctor then you don't have to have a parent take you just to get advise.

depression can manifest in a lot of ways. sometimes it doesn't even have to be an emotional signs or symptom. sometimes, depression manifests physicially. most of the time we don't know when we're depressed until we get to see the bigger picture with the help of others. sometimes, we think we're happy and fine but we're really not. if you think you are depressed, but are not really sure, why not try and see your school guidance counsellor first. it might just be a phase, like going through adolescence. if there's something significantly wrong, for sure your guidance counsellor will refer you to someone else or even do the talking with your parents to let you seek professional help. that's what they're trained to do. use up the resources first that are immediately available to you.

You should go to your parents and tell them your feelings. If you feel something's not normal, or that your emotions have changed, it would not harm you to see a DR. Feelings of depression left alone can get worse if not addressed. It's much easier to remedy the problem before it might get worse. Don't be afraid, just sit them down and share your feelings.

Print out a copy of the online test that you took, complete with your answers and the score results page of the test and show it to your parents and ask them to take you, first, to see your family doctor so he can rule out anything physically that might be wrong with you then he may refer you to a psychiatrist for further evaluation.

You're probably going through a slightly sad stage, nothing to worry about. Maybe you're in denial and maybe you're just like everybody else and totally fine. If it does worry you, then ask if you can be evealuated by your GP and if they think you need to see a specialist, they can refer you.

You should just quit worrying and go on with life... If you feel happy, then what is some survey going to tell you that's new, and correct?
Just move on...
