God's plan is threefold: First, He created mankind in His own image, including intelligence and abilities far above any of His other physical creation.

Secondly, He creates within these physical beings who are made like God a spiritual, righteous, trustworthy, loving character like His own. As free moral agents, we all have the choice of living God's way or doing our own thing according to our own desires and understanding. One way leads to eternal life and God's glory. The other leads only to being left out of God's plan and ultimately eternal death (Deuteronomy 30:15-19).

The third step is glorification as sons of God—the purpose for which we were created. Our loving and outgoing Father is increasing the numbers and joys of having a large, harmonious family. This is the great mystery that Christ came to preach to all who can hear (Mark 1:14-15). God is building His family (Hebrews 2:10)!

Those who have died without understanding these things will come up in a resurrection often called the White Throne Judgment. There, before God, they will have their first chance to know God. This is the second resurrection when the dead are raised—those who never really knew Jesus the Christ or understood His message. They will come to understand and will have plenty of time to prove their faithfulness to God in that time of judgment.

Like everyone before them, they will be given the chance to prove their allegiance to God. They will be judged by the same guidelines, process and laws that the firstfruits were. This process is briefly outlined in Revelation 20:12-15:

" And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades [the grave] delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."

Found in the Book of Life

These books that we are all judged by are the books of the Holy Bible—the Word of God. Those who believe Jesus obey His word. Furthermore, God keeps a symbolic book of record—the Book of Life—including each one whom He calls. If our name is not blotted out because of rebellion against Him, it remains and we will live forever as sons and daughters of God.

Our Father is a fair, faithful, loving God. It is His will that none perish (2 Peter 3: 9), but He does not compromise with sin and evil (Psalm 5:4).

Jesus gives us the conclusion of it all: "I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world" (John 6:48-51).

The Father calls each one of us in His own time. No one will be left out of the process. Those who come to believe in Jesus Christ to the full extent of trust and obedience will become the sons and daughters of the Father and brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ and live in the family of God for eternity. When Jesus' word and spirit come into our hearts and minds, we are on our way to living by it and proving that we will be loving and loyal children forever.

Thus, the mystery is revealed—it is Christ, living and working God's will within us, preparing us to be in God's family. This is our hope of glory.

Yes I do have a clue. For example the Old Testament Jews will be judged according to their devotion and adherence to the Law because that was the covenant they lived under. Others that never heard of the One True Living God of the Triune will be judged by their own human merits.
Now days the Gospel is preached all over the earth and many have the opportunity and turn from it. They make their own decision and pay the consequences.

I think they will all be resurrected (see Revelation-Great white throne judgment) and at that time be given a chance to hear the gospel, and then they can decide to reject it or not. It only seems fair to me. God is a God of love, why would He send a pagan who never even got close to a saint to hell. I have heard it said (a preachers opinion) that a person will be saved even if they look up at the night sky and conclude that there must be a God. That in that act, they will find God. If God has made it that easy then only a fool would reject such ease. I am not sure i agree with that preacher. Because there is no other name under heaven accept Jesus that can save us. And 3500 years ago He hadn't come yet, so those people did not go to hell, i don't think. It is a controversial subject in the churches that is for sure. I am not locked into one belief on it myself, but i favor (right now) this one.

In Christianity , the theory is that the souls will be judged ‘ as if ‘ they had heard the message of the gospel . It’s tied in with the Predestination concept. Before anyone was conceived or born , their future was foreknown by God.

Weather a still-born baby would go to heaven or not is unclear .

Please refer to Romans 1:18-20.Rom 1:18

"...... God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. "

Surely you will agree that to acknowledge God is to acknowledge His Son, Jesus Christ whose redemptive work on the cross IS the gospel. If a man is never presented the gospel (in this day and time, that scenario is highly unlikely), he has within his vision, his touch, his hearing, and his taste the whole of God's creation. If he chooses to heed this unique witness of God, he will be saved. God is perfectly just. He will not condemn any man who truly believes by whatever Godly means that man has at his disposal.

Sincerely,
memberofthebody

Read the Book of Enoch there is a section about the souls in there. The Book of Enoch was written before the Gospels and Jesus was on Earth.

Well I believe God has many faces and I don't feel anyone is left out of reach. I am a pagen and don't hold to traditional belifs on gospel. Although I do belive in God so what does it matter if a person hasn't heard the gospel as long as they find their pathway to God it shouldn't matter.

Christ the Righteous Judge will have to deal with that. However, I am confident that Christ said that He was the only way.
John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Now you can believe Jesus or not. I do beilieve Him. I also trust that he will know what to do with those that try another way to get to God the Father.

Salvation is not caused directly by humans or Bibles instructing you ABOUT God and Jesus and Their One Combined Spirit here upon all humans. He the Spirit of Truth is freely and lovingly and NOW and always poured out upon all flesh.

Jesus tells us to worship God in Spirit and in Truth ! (in Reality !)

Thus, each human living on earth has the same possibility of personally knowing God and his Spirit will for himself, and just AS and just WHERE that person now is ! Amen !

Thus all who are sincere and are following God in Spirit should take their eternal salvation for granted.

Granted freely by the Real, Living here Spirit JESUS; not just some "holy words" ABOUT Him written down or said by some (hopefully sincere) human teacher or evangelist.

The Human evangelists may sometimes help convert the foolish humans who have ALREADY willfully rejected the Spirit Reality of our loving Father God ! Then they may start to seek more for God's Light and Life, freely given !

Peace and progress,
