I know you are entitled to your opinion but there is no reason to bash us christians and bash our beliefs just cause you don't agree. Maybe SOME christians have been mean, but that still dosn't mean you need to judge all of them and bash our religon. I don't have a problem with you having your own opinion, i encourage you to trust in God as your savior but I will not force you to change. If you want us to stop annoying you about it why don't you stop hating on us.

Dude, it's a vicious circle.
So either you're new to Y!A, or your just very young.
I think the main issue is not when people down-right say, "YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!" but rather, "I know that the ONLY way to be SAVED is...". It's quite irritating to hear such close-minded thinking, and it ticks off Atheists and those of other faiths too.
So, keep it to yourself. Religion, no matter HOW HAPPY IT MAKES YOU FEEL, is not a great diet-regime that you can just open up and bribe the public into doing. It's a personal quest.

People who do this are no better than the extremists they hate so much.

I may not be a Christian and I may not agree with everything your religion teaches but I would never ever dream of disrespecting you or your beliefs. And to say horrible things about your God or about Jesus is also to disrespect you.

Most Christians I know are kind and loving people, and I can't imagine bashing them or their religion for any reason at all. The Christians who are mean are few and far between and there is no reason to be mean to all Christians just because of a few.

I don't think they should bash the religion. I'm an atheist but I don't like to call Christians, God, or Jesus stupid or messed up, because I have Christian friends and I respect them a lot. I only say that I disagree with the religion. That's all.

They are the lost people, don't worry about them.

Let them say what they want and we will use it against them. The more they bash us the better.

This are the people who's parents will say " My child is innocent, they will not hurt a fly" when their house is raided by the security forces.

Encourage them, keep contributing, and you will get to know more of their behavior and character. Mark those that persecuted us and gives their nick name to the securities so that they will be kept under surveillance. Watch out for their secret code. Be very attentive to their motive. Some are doing it for fun, some because of their ignorance, some for their ideologies but the one you should look out are the people of the other faith. They are the dangerous one.

Keep getting involved whether passively or by contributing.
Be active in your christian life and always defend the holy kingdom in prayers and in spirit and in works.

Because you christians think that you have the market cornered when it comes to spirituality, you guys are right and everybody else is wrong. That takes nerve to think such a thing as well as bit of stupidity. Besides read your history, you are the bloodiest religion to come down the pike, explain to me the crusades, the inquisition and the senseless witch trials. I can't believe that these people who organized and ran these little christian projects were considered good and holy men and educated to boot. That is a joke. They nothing more than impotent little men who had alot fears especially when it came to women, so they decided to punish man woman and child all in the name of their "god". You people are nothing more than cowards and murderers that behind a so-called holy book. Your pastors of today are no better. They claim to know this and that about other religions but they don't know squat, especially when comes to paganism. You people are totally off the charts about that. It is getting to be a joke with all of this, you people and your self-righteous attitude, if you are not a christian then you are a devil worshipper, give me a break. You people are so quick to point fingers and condemn those who are different, why shouldn't we be judgemental of you , you judge us according to that so-called holy book and you bash our religion(s), just by calling us devil worshippers. You wouldn't know a real devil worshipper if you fell over one.Besides all a devil worshipper is, is a christian with a bad attitude. Why should I trust in a god that wants so called non-believers dead. Besides don't you think iat's all a bit hippocritical? Your "god" sent out his hit men to kill all kinds of people because they didn't worship him. On top of that he demanded sacrifice, what a bunch of hippocrites. I'm sorry, I don't think that your "god" is all that warm and fuzzy. He sounds very insecure to me. He might need some medication or something.Your Old testament is nothing more than a murder story, about an angry and jealous god who couldn';t stand the fact that other people believed in different god, so he called upon his henchmen to put the hit on these poor people and animals. That is real love for you, just oozing from every pore. Your new testament is no better, it's do as I say and do what I tell you to do or else. Still a jealous god.Hasn't changed. I just think you are a bunch of brainwashed and fearful people that don't want to venture out of your little world for fear that some god some where might send you to hell (yeah right) for thinking outside the box.

Well, some of the Christian ideas are just silly, and are primarily reinforced through religious power structures. I've witnessed just about as many athiest-bashing-Christians as I have Christians-bashing-atheists on these boards. That doesn't justify either side.

Because the Bible told you that you were going to be persecuted for your beliefs, that's why. It also says that you should rejoice in your persecution, so stop your whining.

And for the official answer, it's because so many of us trash other religions all the time. We (Christians) are probably the most abusive group on here. The Atheists may have us, but they have no doctrine defining how they should behave like we do.

We're not exactly forcing you to change either. I bash on a case by case basis, honestly. To be honest with you, outside of R&S what I mostly see is Christians bashing Christians over who's version of "love thy nieghbor" is more accurate.

I`ll tell you why.....Man was made out of the dust of the earth. God cursed the earth and the serpent when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Satan is the ruler of the earth since his fall from grace. satan wants to be like God but hates all that God has made.
So, man is forever being decieved by satan and
because of this, man doesn`t want to hear the truth
of God`s Word. This leads man to trash talk God and God`s love for man and to believe that man
can somehow be his own god and not need a Heavenly Father.

Atheists could not care less about anyone’s personal beliefs. The problems arise when politically active religious groups insist on the right to impose their beliefs and lifestyles on everyone else.

Almost all animosity directed towards Christians is the result of fundamentalists and Creationists who want to destroy the US Constitution and replace America’s secular democratic republic with a quasi-theocratic fascist state based on the doctrine of their sadistic and humanity-hating God. And, they want to expel science from our classrooms and replace it with the folktales and mythological beliefs of illiterate goat herders who lived thousands of years ago.
