Maybe God can also make everyone rich and rid the world of all diseases and evil?
Then how can people have a chance to do good and help others?
If the world was perfect then who wouldn't believe in and love God?
What do you prefer? Your friend liking you for who you are or just because you can do favors for him/her.
God wants to know this? Do you truly trust and love Him no matter what or are you looking for favors and an easy way out?

actually God does help the poor and the starving.

He sends christians to places like afghanistan, india, etc, to educate, to feed, to provide medical help.

He sends people (who has a God-given conscience)of other faiths, (though not christians) into rural and poverty-stricken places too.

it is those people who complain, "why ISN'T GOD DOING ANYTHING TO HELP THE POOR ????", that are not doing anything. believe me.

About the starving and helpless - its up to US to do that as we are doing the good works that God meant us to do.

Rich? Would that make you happy? It wouldn't make me happy but if I was rich, I would do as much as I could for the starving and helpless. I would donate to a lot of genuine charities that really help like the Make a Wish foundation.

...how can people have a chance to do good and help others? Just do it.

If the world was perfect then who wouldn't believe in and love God? All it takes is faith.

I do truly trust and love God.

When will people learn that God doesn't owe us a thing. We are all His enemies from our first breath on. The fact that He shows His grace and mercy to allow anyone to take another lung full of air amazes me every moment. The fact that He chooses some of His enemies to be His own children is mind boggling. The fact that He allows blasphemy from out of the mouth of babes is extrodinary. How many earthly rulers would do the same?

Most only really want a Jesus genie. One they can take out in times of trouble to ask for a favor, and then immediately close Him back in the bottle.

I'm too tired, and too digusted to go on.

Bye now

I sooo agree. Im tired of people saying that. Maybe they just don't understand God, they have never known him. But he really is loving and does not put harm on us. We put harm on ourselves because we are not perfect people and God uses the bad things to teach us and to help us. He will always make something good out of it. Plus he said in the bible that the world will begin to get worse with more wars and bad things as it leads up to the anti christ. The world will never be perfect, only heaven is perfect. But God loves all people and would not want to hurt any1. So I totally agree with you!

amen :]

what else is free will for? and how else would we be able to be salt and light to the earth?

if earth was perfect, there would be no rules, and no need for a judge. or heaven. or morals. no need for God. because you wouldnt have to trust him, would you? and your own faith would mean nothing, while to him its EVERYTHING.

and all you who think God lets people suffer? dont you realize thats the work of Satan? its human kinds own fault we dont live in a perfect world. remember adam and eve? oh yeah, no more eden. and God will make a new heaven and a new earth someday, and it WILL be perfect. but just realize for now that God uses all events in life for his purpose and ultimately the greater good.

"Then how can people have a chance to do good and help others?"

Why is this necessary in the first place? Are you suggesting that your god makes it difficult so that people have the opportunity to help each other to make it less difficult? A child falls off a cliff for what reason exactly, so you can be helpful and pick up the pieces and comfort the mother? This is utterly absurd. I think you are making up excuses.

There are enough people on this earth, to help others, who are starving and helpless..someone asked this the other day, why don't Christians do this and that to help others...I do help others...my question was what do they do to help others...their reply..I pay my taxes...lol.. wow they pay taxes to our government...but it is our job to go and save the rest of the world...and pay taxes too.. I get amazed sometimes by the silly things people say and we are supposed to be the brainwashed idiots..

I truly love and trust him, and I do not look or expect for anything in return...and he does amazing things that I don't expect for me..

Some of us have soo much while others have soo little.. those of us who have much are meant to share with those who do not.....It's a lesson we must learn....we have free will, that is God given...most are not using it to help those with less.....I don't just mean with money, but time, compassion, etc....
You know what u have most of...

Be a part of the solution.

I don't believe in this theory. If God is perfect why he needs us? Is a game or what.
A kid dying from cancer or starvation and you want me to believe that this is a proof of God. Na !

And when it said to them: "Spend of that with which Allah has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe:"Shall we feed those whom, if Allah willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error." 36.Ya-Sin:47

Say: "He is the Most Gracious (Allah), in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So you will come to know who is it that is in manifest error."
Say (O Muhammad): "Tell me. If (all) your water were to sink away, who then can supply you with flowing(spring) water?" 67.Al-Mulk:29-30.
