I'm going to vermont in 3 weeks...I'm leaving from portland oregon, layover in las vegas, then taking off AGAIN LOL and flying to vermont..now... My my question is what can i take that will help me during the flight? Im not a big drinker but i dont mind slamming a few back before the flight..But sometimes alcohol makes me very restless and doesn't relax me what so ever..I'm really trying not to think about it but i cant help it...I know the plane is going to crash, i just wanna be knocked out when it does.. But seriously, i'm really worried. Not so much about the crashing part but just how im going to be able to control myself while im in the air...Can anybody help plz? I currently take no meds but im willing to try. :(

well just dont think about the negative justthink about the positive like the service is fine or do what i do when i get on a plane just look at people and make conversation. remember you never know whos going to be on the plane. like once i got on a plane with a famouse soccer team. i want to be a flight attendant when i grow up so just relax listen to music and before you know it youll be at your destination.
have a VERY safe trip !!! good luck

Most doctors will prescribe a mild sedative to nervous fliers. My doctor always gives me a prescription of Valium whenever I fly to the US. It really helps calm my nerves without knocking me out.

Ask your doctor for Atavan. It is a small pill that you put under your tongue when you are feeling anxious.
