The fact that every culture and society known has a religion associated with it indicates that mankind is made with an innate need to worship something that is higher. Because of this religions are formed to meet the need. I do not believe that "our advanced brains" need to cope with death and the unknown that it brings for even the most "simplest" of minds also have that desire. In fact many of those we classify as simple minded people are also the ones that often teach us the most about religion and God!

This one fact alone--the universality of religion in society--is the first proof of God!!

Human nature is peace and loving.
That is what I think and I do believe it.

When they get older they always look for that 2 above, peace and love.

By nature they seek for that.

Religion supposed to have the answer.

BUT :
As they grow older, people have desires and people can think not just driven by instinct.

Even if the religion is right and give them path to the peace and love, human desire tend to create and craft their own imagination , to make their own rightenous.

As times goes by, you see what you see today.
It is sad, but no human can help it to stop.
Whoever want to stop, that human will do it according to his/her own desire/ imagination and craft.

Have peace and love within, that's a nice first thing daily to start the day.

zodionic: Yes; RELIGION is a bi-product of "human nature". Why ? Because religion is based on ritualistic practices - not "spirituality" (notice the YA title for this section "Religion & Spirituality"?). Spirituality is centered on relationship with God, the Father, through Jesus Christ. It is referred to as, "Christianity" and entails, faith, grace and Jesus Christ. There are no "legalistic" practices to be "chained" to, as there are in "religion". Christianity is about TRANSformation of the mind; whereas, "religion" is about CONforming. So; all-in-all, you are correct in saying, that "religion" is simply, "human nature" !!! Human nature likes to CONform !!!

Religions are platforms to cater to and exercising the religious component to guy. some do extra suitable than others, whilst some do abysmally poorly. that does no longer propose, using undesirable examples, all Religions might desire to be eradicated. Neither does it propose, using stable examples, that each and every person faith desires to be embraced. the certainty approximately Human Spirituality might desire to be rationally evaluated, and persons be loose to choose for his or her direction based on the authentic findings. working example, no Drug business enterprise is going to fund a study, whose conclusions comprise that Divine healing is a probable determination to using prescribed drugs. No Church in accordance with fake Doctrine is going to tell its individuals that the explanation why their prayers do no longer artwork is using the fact they do no longer seem to be practising the comparable faith their Bibles command we save on with. that's spectacular how human beings save on with to the loss of life, the words of persons who've each and every reason to misinform them.

Scientists found links that suggest humans need religion.

We need to know where we came from, and be assured we don't die and that's it. We can't live with the unknown. So yes, it is human nature for the most part.

A Pure Heart
Just like there are twenty major unlawful states of the heart for the person travelling the Path [to Allah], there are twenty major wajib states of the heart:

fearing Allah (one reason for it is that Allah's punishment is very severe),
hoping in Allah (one reason for it is that Allah's mercy is very expansive),
being patient with trials, being patient with using material blessings moderately and not letting them make one into a tyrant, being patient in continuing to obey Allah day after day, and being patient in staying away from acts of disobedience (one reason for it is knowing that patience is rewarded much more than most other acts of worship),
thanking Allah with one's tongue by praising Him, with one's heart by recognizing the blessings as being from Him, and with one's body by obeying Him (one reason for it is that Allah increases in good those that are thankful),
depending on Allah in obtaining one's benefits and in turning away harm (two reason for it are

knowing that everything is in Allah's control and
He does not thwart the servant who depends on Him),
consigning or entrusting one's affair entirely to Allah and giving up one's own preference (one reason for it is knowing that the preference of Allah is better for the servant than his preference for himself (as Allah knowsthe consequences of possible situations better than His creation)),
thinking the best of and expecting the best from Allah (two reasons for it are

knowing that Allah is Generous and Merciful and
knowing that Allah deals with people as they expect Him to deal with them),
surrendering oneself to Allah's command and leaving arguing with Him (one reason for it is knowing that Allah is the Supreme Lord and He alone has authority even over our own lives (as we are only slaves to Him whether we like it or not)),
becoming internally happy with Allah's decree which is more than just surrendering to Allah's command (two reasons for it are

loving Allah and letting this love blind one from seeing or feeling the undesirable things He sends and

knowing that Allah is wise in what He does and in the end what He does is better),
being sincere/true to Allah by performing acts of worship only for Him without ulterior motives (one reason for it is knowing that Allah is aware of people's
