Yes and they will investigate the situation. If it proves to be abuse, they will take the children away. If it's safe enough to put the kids with another family member they will, otherwise it's to the orphanage they go.

Never hold back when someone is abusing another person, especially young children and the elderly.

This person needs to be reported and you should have good evidence that the children are being abused. If you will not stand up for them, who will? The best you can do is to talk with a professional and if you have room in your home to get the children away from the abuse, by all means do it and do it today.

YES!!!!! the repercussions are numerous. it also starts the cycle of abuse... the possibility that their kids will turn around to abuse their own children is there and even if the chance is not much it's still too much. report them! Do it anonymously if you have to just do it... the lids are in danger that's what matters not the feelings of the family doing the abuse

Oh, you should definately report that. Chances are they will not listen to you and the abuse will continue. The children will be taken away from the family by social services and be put with other safe family members or they will be put in a home. They will be better off. Please do it before it's too late.

YES... PLEASE report it. If you know for a fact that a child is being mistreated/abused/molested etc., please report it!!! It's our duty as parents/guardians/friends, to protect children. I cannot express enough the importance of this. I myself was an abused child. No one would protect me. No one would say anything because everyone was afraid of my father. When I think about that, it really makes me angry at those who were around me because they knew what was going on, and no one did anything about it. I'm going on 37 now, and I still get upset when I think about the past and how no one protected me. Please help that child and say something! Call Social Services and tell them what you see/hear and know about what that child is going through. They will do the rest and they will keep your name anonymous. Don't confront the parent/family member. Tell Social Services/Child Protective Services. PLEASE...Do it NOW. My heart goes out to that child.

Absolutely. This person should be sent to jail. The kids could possibly be sent into foster care, unless another family member is able to adopt them, but foster care is better than being abused all your life, don't you think?

You might first tell him/her that if you ever find out its happened again, you'll report him immediately.

Then if you need to, do it.

Or if it is bad already, report him now. Family will have the chance to have the kids after a week or so with social services.

YES. The repercussions will be that the children have a chance to escape the abuse and begin rebuilding their lives.........to get counselling to start to realise that they are not in the wrong.

Failure to report a criminal act is a crime itself. However, you want to be damn sure of your facts cause you are about to bring a whole world of hurt down on someone.
