That is one of the fun little games that fundies play. I used to be a fundie (when I was much younger & they were always making Heaven a more exclusive place.) A good fundie doesn't believe that basically any body out side their own particuler belief system is going to go to Heaven. They try to use the Bible like a Law book and they are the judge. The problem with this approach is that it looks only at works and not the heart and this leads to them looking like fools.

I keep it to myself...but it is pretty easy to tell who the real Christians are and who the fake ones are...more so on here, than in real life..it is the old wolf in sheep's clothing deal..some people seem great but their whole goal is to pull people away from God.. I personally have decided that God is going to sort us out in the end and he is the judge, but he did give us authority to use a discerning spirit..

They have no authority except the authority that they give themselves. They are just pious and self righteous and like to say, notice me, I'm holier than thou. Nothing but a bunch of phonies. In my opiniion they are all fake.

well lets put it this way....if you believe Jesus Christ diedon the cross for your sins, and you have been baptized, you take communion regularly, you believe in God, and you believe in the Holy Trinity, then you are a Christian. The Roman Catholic church is the one who thinks it has the authority, but no one does...besides the RCC is the most corrupt organization in existence...and many people ask if Mormons or LDS are Christians and I will be frank, WE DONT KNOW NOR DO WE CARE!!! they say that Jesus came to America and showed some hosehead some golden tablets that were never found...what garbage! there is physical evidence that Jesus lived and taught in Jerusalem....and that he died there...historical evidence, books, artifacts, etc....but only God has the tru authority, we can only suspect who is a Christian and who is not. I gave up long ago on trying to separate the fake from the real....i just go with the flow now

MOST such people are the **pseudo**-Christian lemmings of the RRR Cult ("Religious" Radical Right); generally quite DOLTISH people who have been conned into thinking that way via the unceasing propagandizing by the cult's oligarchal leadership. (Which used to include Jerry Falwell -- may his name forever be cursed. He STARTED the RRR Cult, 30 years ago! And called it the "Moral Majority" -- which never was even remotely either one.)
Fortunately, 94% of America's *professing* Christians are your sensible, UNobtrusive, NON-judgmental, fair-minded and tolerant, work-a-day next-door neighbors. Who have no interest in the RRR's "values" or its loathsome agendas against the personal liberties of tens of millions of people.
NOR do they go around claiming that PRO-Choice Christians aren't Christian. (Especially since MOST actual Christians - unlike the RRR cultists -- ARE Pro-Choice with respect to the remedy of abortion.)

I agree. However, there is an absolute truth out there that the "fundies" are missing. The truth of the Bible!

God in his greatness must find fundies kind of like Down Syndrome children. They mean well, but seem to be know-nothings.
In the Bible it says "Judge not, lest you be judged." They are really asking for it, and they are not going to like the result.

The authority comes from the Bible...it clearly states what you must do to be saved...If you haven't done it,,then you are not saved..Just believing God exists, won't save you...Even if you believe God and Jesus both exist, it won't save you....Repent, be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit, that saves you...you can't skip a step...so that is what gives us the right to say who is or isn't..it must be as the Bible says...period...
Acts 2:38 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

God. They have regular face-to-face audiences with God wherein they are given insights and instructions regarding God's will, wishes and plans....and the authority to judge and persecute in his name

Jesus died and gave them that authority:
"Whoever's sins you remit, they are remitted; whoever's sins you retain, they are retained." John 20:23
