rejecting Jesus or His forgiveness is liken to the following scenario:

i was driving and i knocked down a child.

i knew that i was in deep *h*t

even as i was being led away by the police, i was worrying how my life would end up. would i end up in jail? would i have to pay a heavy price for this mistake i have done?

then i appeared in court, and the Judge happened to be the child's father.

He, instead of prosecuting me and sending me to jail, told me that he has already forgiven me, and that he wanted to set me free.

but then, i reject him, and said , "let me pay for my own mistakes",

and so, the Judge sentenced me to many years in jail, my license revoked, and to pay a heavy fine for the mistakes i have done.

so...how can we blame God for sending us to eternal fire if we are to say, "let us reject God' forgiveness through Jesus, and let us take the punishment of our sin unto ourselves!"?

dear Synical,

we have free will.

we also have a conscience.

we also know about Jesus' free grace.

with knowledge, we should make better choices in life.

Boars heart,

you definitely need forgiveness if your life.

all of us behave as if we were so righteous on the outside. we look happy, we behave happy. we show people we are fine. but are we really alright? do we have sinful thoughts in our heads? can we grasp how perversed our minds can be? can we tell people the certain things we have done in our lives in secret?

and you got to understand that Jesus is God the Son. He is God. and He came willingly to die for you. No compulsion indeed.

Boar's heart,

are you perfect then?

do you not need your friend's forgiveness? do you not need your parents' forgiveness? do YOU not need to forgive others? now, if you do need forgiveness from people, what more from God who willingly came and died for you!

wb,

what IF YOU ARE on the wrong path?

what if Jesus came back today?

i rather live my life like there's God, than to live my life like there's no God, only to find out there is GOD!

some Freemasons are Christians, and that they have self assurance in Christ. some are not. In the two case, it extremely is kinda beside the point, considering Freemasonry is a social fraternity, no longer a faith. you're able to as properly be asking why Starbucks workers have self assurance in Jesus if Jesus could reject them. of course, you don't be attentive to lots approximately Christianity, the Bible, or Jesus Christ; Jesus' customary message became into that we could constantly all merely get alongside and be tolerant of another. He cares for human beings. He by no skill stated something in any respect approximately Freemasonry or secret societies - that are, of direction, 2 particularly some issues. ultimately, you don't be attentive to lots approximately Freemasonry in case you think of that's a secret society; that's a social fraternity, the homes are indexed, of course marked, very almost each inn has a internet site and places out a month-to-month e-newsletter, Freemasons themselves placed on rings, lapel pins, hats and shirts showing their association with Freemasonry - and a few even have license plates, registration huge form plate frames, or perhaps stickers on their autos showing the worldwide that they are individuals of the fraternity. no longer. rather. secret.

Except . . . I haven't knocked down a child and am not in deep "*h*t."

I dont' NEED forgiveness or redemption or anything of the sort. That's all just self-loathing and "crazy people talk" by the utterly brainwashed.

Here's a question: even if I *did* . . . how exactly does the Jesus story square the account? Why on earth would any deity worth serving need to see someone die horribly in order to forgive me for something I never actually did?

Unlike a fine, the penalty for sinning is eternal death, eternal death is spiritual death.

You die of a physical death on earth, but your spirit also suffers.

Jesus Christ paid the price for the suffering of your spiritual death so that you wouldn't be eternally cut off from God. This is our ticket to entering Heaven.

You will die a physical death since that happens to all of us, but your body will once again reunite with your spirit on the day of judgment where you will either be sentenced to an eternal life, or to an eternal death. (Heaven or Hell)
Jesus Christ was resurrected after he died, his spirit reunited with his body after three days in which he was dead.
Because of his sacrifice our spirits will be able to do the same.

If Jesus Christ did not do this for us, our bodies would have laid in the ground forever, and our spirits would have been lost forever as well.

Recap:

Jesus died for the eternal salvation of your soul.
You will carry the burden of the earthly punishments/consequences of your sins, but it will not limit you from entering into the kingdom of Heaven, unless you reject to repent.

Your body and spirit after your death, through Jesus' sacrifice, will once again be united on judgment day, like Jesus' body was when he was resurrected.

You can't judge yourself, because your actions have to be judged by an all knowing God, he alone can see if your intents were malicious, or an accident. His judgments are just.

And how can you blame other people for exercising the free will your God supposedly granted them, and choosing to live their life according to their own beliefs and morals? If a person chooses to live a non-religious life, and you see them sailing for that pit of eternal damnation, who are you to blame them for the choice they actively made?

Swings both ways.

God dosen't burn people, that is a lie. God in fact does the opposite. He will reconcile all unto Himself in His time. Burning people is mans teaching and God hates it. God loves His children He dosen't burn them.
