Lucifer was created to be God's Light Bearer. After a while, Lucifer thought that he could become God and was tossed from Heaven, banished to Earth and has tormented Mankind ever since.

God demands perfection, and even though Adam sinned, God provided a way to perfection - accepting the sacrifice of Jesus and letting Him fill the Gap of our shortcoming.

Jesus did what was done out of love for us - that we could have fellowship with God in Heaven.

Satan is not demanding payment, he is trying to keep us from receiving that which could be ours for free. Why? Because he hates man. Man was created in God's image - Lucifer was not. When Satan looks at us, he sees God.

If Satan were greater than God, we would all be dead now and God would not have kicked his rear end when Jesus rose from the dead.

Why would you want to worship a God that knew this would happen? He gives you freewill. God will not whack you over the head with a flyswatter if you get out of line. YOU can defy God, reject Jesus, and He will love you enough to respect your choice.

When God created Lucifer, he was not evil. It was not until Lucifer became envious of God that Lucifer became Satan.

Satan is only an angel, and a less powerful one now that he is ravaged by millennia of sin. When Jesus comes back, Satan will cover and hide - he will not be defiant to the end.
