How can illegals pay taxes in the United States ?!?

I've seen it alleged repeatedly by sympathetic members here that illegals "pay taxes".
HOW ?!?

They're here illegally.
They have no driver's license.
They have no social security card.
They have no passport or papers or green card.

I live in Florida and I've met many illegals, mostly in medical offices where I've worked. And if it did any good, I would report them to INS, at least the suspicion they're here illegally.

As I understand it, they can use fake identification, by borrowing a legal friend's Social security card and driver's license.
Or take some unknown living or dead person's social security number and info (i.e., identity theft).

Either one of these is a crime.

But the majority of illegals I've known, or suspected, who are here illegally simply have under-the-table jobs, in restaurants, as housekeepers, house-painting, construction, pressure-cleaning, or some other cash business, and thus pay no taxes.
So please, how do they pay taxes?

No, this is quite easy to explain: There are TINs (taxpayer identification numbers) offered by the government. If you are illegal, you can request one, and, file taxes with it at the end of the year. The ss# and the TIN won't match, but, IRS links them both. As far as DLs, they were able to get a drivers license legally in Wisconsin until April of this year. Then, it can be transferred to new state.

Its not all one way or the other. Most illegals pay a lot of the taxes they should. Here's two examples: antime they buy something, they pay the sales tax; and, when they rent an apartment, the propertaxes get pid jsut as they do for anyone else.

Granted, a lot of taxes DON'T get collected--but if you stop ant think--every penny that isn't collected is due to the system failure in not providing some sort of legal status that would mean all those taxes would get collected.

Finally--a LOT of illegals get payroll taxes (te bulk of what doesn't get paid right now) deducted-but the employers, since they don't report the existance of the worker, jsut pocket the money. It's hard to say how much of this goes on--but its a big chunck.

But that problem-along with the whole immigration mess, will get solved in 2009 when the neocons are out of the way.

The population of Hazelton, PA went up by 50% but their tax collections did not increase. The burden on their schools, hospitals, and social services went up more than 50% - and the town is now facing bankruptcy.

Not only do the illegals get paid in cash, which they do not pay taxes out of except through purchases, but the empoyers who hire them and pay them cash are evading payroll taxes.

Many (not most) use fake SSNs to get work -- and the taxes are paid under that SSN. Yes, it's also illegal -- but it doesn't change the fact they are paying taxes.

And IRS offices around the country regularly report undocumented workers coming in and offering to pay taxes.

Most are being paid under the table -- but statistics seem to indicate that if they could pay taxes, most would.

Actually, SOME of them do pay taxes. The liberals are just a little weary about mentioning how. In essence, an illegal alien, or shall I say, "parasite invader", steals social security numbers.

Most companies require documents before hiring workers. However, undocumented workers often provide phony papers including fake social security numbers. Both the company and the workers contribute to these fake accounts, which end up in the coffers of the Social Security Administration.

Nevertheless, these illegal alien parasites are criminals. Criminals from the day they invade and criminals the day they pay taxes using stolen social security numbers. Utter pieces of sh*t like the liberal traitors who support this cancer.

The IRS does not concern itself with immigration status. Those who cannot get SSNs can get TINs, but they don't have to file tax returns. Their employers just withhold their entire tax and send it in to the IRS.



And of course, they pay sales tax, fuel tax, sin tax, and all other indirect taxes.

Tax ID number. The IRS has no jurisdiction over immigration status.
"They have no passport" dont be so quick to judge, many illegals are white Europeans that do hold passports that overstayed their visa.
