I'm a 23 year old with no criminal record. I wanted to know what the requirements for a concealed permit were from someone who has an Idaho concealed weapons permit or a link to a website that spells it out in plain English. Thanks!

Local Sheriff issues the permit,

$22.00 for permit
$34.00 for background

4 year renewal is $12.00 for permit and $5.00 for background. They accept hunters safety courses or even 'self taught' for training.

They are a shall issue state so if your background is clear you get one. They also recognize all other state CCW.

[To Joad58 get a Florida Non-Resident permit, they are honored in most of the south and not a pain to get at all.]

You can do several things. One is to call your county sheriff. You can also call your state's public safety agency. You can also contact your state rifle association. Also contact the NRA at nra.org. They are a valuable source of info, even if you are not a member,if you own a fire arm you should be.Do not bother with a city police department or county constable. Both are anti-carry, are not very knowledgeable, and will deliberately give you false info to keep you from applying.
