i dont want to be rude because she gets so emotional but like ill be sitting at the dining room table reading over the federalist papers or something and shell come home and be like oooooh mishaels playing with her history book aww how cute and she'll like just sit there and talk and she wont go away then i have to go somewhere else and then i am so mad that i cant even concentrate! :( grr i hate her, what should i do... and i cant sit down and talk to her about it because she'll interrupt and start talking about herself (ive tried)

Yeah Parents are strange creatures. Go into your room and do it. if your mom comes make your studying sound worse than it really is. maybe she will leave you alone. I feel your pain.

If you've tried "talking" to her, then you need to raise your voice a little. You NEED to make her understand that you need a little privacy. Why don't you go to your room and study, and LOCK THE DOOR lol. That's always an easy solution. Or if you live by somewhere that has a nice study area, then hang out there. Good luck!

I would try to do two things: 1. If you have a public library in your town, try going there to study. 2. Set aside some time for a mother - daughter date. It seems like your mom is in need of your attention. So, she is treating you this way. I know the feeling. My mother is the same way. I hope this helps.

Start off studying in a different room, behind a locked door. Come out when you're done, and not before. Study with earplugs so you can't hear her...
Or...shoot her and lie about it.
Personally? I would go wtih studying behind a locked door, less chance to go to prison

somethings missing in your moms life! a Husbund ? a Boy freind? either way shes relying on you for the Companionship and all you can do is tell her nicely and if that doesnt work study at the Library ! But do be nice to her and tell her firmly .

I hate that, too. What you should do is study inside your room and get away from her. If possible, you could also visit a library near to you! =) GOod luck.

I personally go to my room, lock my door and study all I wnat without anyone bothering me. If that doesn't work go to the libarary and sit in on eof the study rooms.
