put yourself out there. Dress nice, be propper, and be firm. Don't be afrade, or distracted. Just push forward for it. look for jobs your intrested in the paper.. Good luck with the job finding!

It depends on how quick you need to be in the workforce.

I would suggest coming up with a list of skills... and be open about it. Everything from organizing things, working with the PTA, church work, helping with field trips, data entry, sales (even if it is just softball chocolate), and anything else you can think of. You probably have a far wider skills base than you realized before. Plug it into a resume.

Being a stay-at-home mom is a job, and you can quantify it. Can you get references from any school-based organizations you may have helped? That might be nice to include!

The next thing would be to network for recommendations of places you could work at, even if on a volunteer basis, to get a job reference. Volunteer work counts.

Have you considered creating your own gig? Find a niche market and exploit it. A dog-poop scooping (yard cleaning) service? Dog walking? Maid service (might have to get bonded)?
