I had my stylist color my hair blonde, but I now want my natural color back to a dark brown, but with highlights on top. How do I get rid of the blonde in my hair and have the base color be my natural hair color and add to that blonde highlights? What is this process called?

just keep on applying coconut oil
in few months u will have ur natural color

I dont think you can just get rid of the dye in your hair. Your hair was lightened. You should get brown highlights then. Its much simpler :]
Unless you want to dye your hair back to a brown then highlight it but that could damage your hair. Too much hair dye: not good.

you can't take the dye out. you have to either let your hair grow out or dye it back to your natural color.
