Because I guy I know told me that I must look the most like a guy because I had the shortest hair (for a girl) in the grade. I personally don't think it makes any difference but what to you guys think/prefer? My hair is at about a bob length but its not really a bob.

well most guys like long hair i really have no idea why but i'm guessing being more feminine looking has a lot to do with it and i really think that bobs are cute so you should totally keep it. I mean some guys know a days you can't tell them apart from girls because they let their hair grow out so long

Your style represents you! Having a short bob just means you are daring, carefree, and do not care what other thinks. In this instance, you're playing the reversal role.
It's all about preference! You like your hair short. He probably likes it long, on a girl. Ask the next guy, and he may say he likes it short. Everyone has a different taste, so do not let his comment bother you.
UNLESS, his opinion is the only one that matters?

I totally agree with you! I had the shortest hair in MY grade, and a guy told me the same thing. However it was a hit with the girls. Long hair and femininity is so cliche, I mean, it's the 21st century! My sister was also hesitant to cut off her hair, but she ended up looking very chic and cute.

Most guys prefer long hair, but I know a couple who go crazy for short. I know a lot of very pretty girly girls with short hair.

I'm a girl with short hair - perhaps even the shortest in my grade. Guys still talk to me and find me attractive. Of course, the occasional male still teases me and says I look like a lesbian. But that's just immaturity (I'm in high school).
But, like girls, guys have personal preferences for girls. Some like taller girls, or black girls, or curvier girls, or girls with red hair.
There will always be a guy who finds you attractive.
Besides, cutting your hair short gives you an edgier look and lets people focus on your face.

If we're going by hair length, then yeah, you probably do look the most like a guy. But really, if you have the bone structure, a short haircut can look very feminine and pretty. If anyone says that to be pretty and feminine you have to have long hair, they're a fool.

It depends on your body type, face shape and a few other things. Some women just look better with long hair and others look better with it short or even in a pixie cut. Pixie cuts do not go with a full-figured woman to me, but that is only my opinion.
