Can we please just drop the "Christians hate gays" line of comments?

Case in point: http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Apa2b2ybxvdOW7nWgiOsXBfAFQx.?qid=20070802202308AAlwr3W

I know most are trolls, but why feed them? I'm rather tired of it. It's NOT true. They only promote more hatred and intolerance.

And to you self proclaimed open minded and tolerant "Christians", "Muslims", "Jews", Atheists, Agnostics, and any others who really have something against gays, please just stop it. We're all tired. It's done, finished, kaput!

:D

ok, so I posted this q because I'm tired and I wanted to make a point. Be respectful. I'll simply delete the question if insults fly.

Ramjet, if you can accomplish this, then I have a list of other questions/comments I'd like you to address.

I know that all gay bashers aren't Christian and that all Christians don't hate gays. I do have a problem with Christians who say hate the sin, love the sinner, homosexuality is an abomination and gays will go to Hell.
Sorry, but I've never seen those responses from an atheist, agnostic, Jew or Muslim on here. Trolls pick out the worst traits of any group- sometimes I can't even tell if it's a troll or the real deal.
I'd love to see an end to the comments too, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Have a good night.

SLEEP! wHO HAS TIME FOR THAT???
What was the question? Oh,
Supposedly, Christians hate
gays. I don't. I personally feel
that any "couple" who want to
live together for life in a loving
relationship are the same as
a married man/woman.
the Bible thumpers are not
aware that we christians don't
live in the Old Testament.
We live in Grace.
I cannot make the judgement
call on anyone else's relationship with Jesus. I have a hard enough time keeping my own life in order.

only if they agree to drop the craptastic saying "hate the sin, love the sinner" It is a completely ******** way of antagonizing people without feeling like they're doing anything wrong. Hating homosexuality is like hating left handedness and telling someone they are sinning because of something they have no control over is hateful no matter how you try to justify it

Amen, I have never heard a Christain say he hated homosexuals . Any one who says they hate any one is not a Christian. I too am sick of this false accusation. Sleep tight and dont let the gay bed bugs bite! Cap'n Arlo

Yeah, you're right. I think the question was in jest, but I know it's not fair.
