The ego of self can be the deliverer of either the sweetness of the sensabilities of self; the strength of the character of self and the smartness of the powers of the personality of self; OR it can be used by the self for flaunting the powers and abilities of self together with the knowledge and energies of self and the confidence and courage of self.

How can we learn to stop using our ego from displaying all that which the self knows and uses as his powers and abilities; and instead allowit to deliver all that our inner self possess.

Who is the ultimate driver of the self; the ego of the self which is capable of driving the self to perform actions of the mind of self; or that self which is capable of driving the ego of the self to wisely use and deliver the sweetness of the sensabilities of self; the strength of the character of self and the smartness of the powers of the personality of self;for enabling and empowering the self first to perform actions of the mind.

This is my understanding: The EGO is one third of what drives a person, along with the other aspects: SPIRIT and PERSONALITY.

In actuality, EGO runs the central nervous system and all of those autonomic functions. Ideally, it should not be allowed to call the shots in a person's life. The EGO is a cranky bus driver that likes to keep us on a very specific little bus route with as few variations as possible... the same patterns over and over. While the ego wants lots of attention and strokes, the ego really isn't about taking risks... it likes to keep you in fear and in a "stuck" state. The average person's pie chart is mostly ego and personality, and only about 10% spirit.

When you get onto a path of spiritual development, you tend to drop the binding patterns that keep you "stuck". Eventually you put the ego where it ought to be, just running the body's autonomic functions.

After some time of developing the aspect of spirit to 1/3 or better, increasing the connection to "divine source"... it often happens that spirit and personality will merge together to really make the good stuff happen. SPIRIT is what really drives us to achieve and evolve, and to seek out our divine origin.

It is part of human nature to be vain and live in an ego of SELF. The human species would not have invented so many mechanisms trying to create so many avenues of gaining a humble nature, especially within all the religions of the world. You sound like an amateur Freudian and I suggest doing some reseach on the findings of Freud......As for the ego being a deliver of self, REGARDLESS of mankind's intentions to create a PERFECT perspective within it's religions to overcome it's egotisical ways, all mankind has ever done with this fault is "adjust" it to it's faiths and written doctrines AROUND it. Doesn't mean any of them has ever been from any SUPERIOR entity or of any HOLY nature..........
