Although women's risk of bipolar disorder seems to be little or no higher than that of men, more women than men have been reported to suffer certain relatively uncommon forms of bipolar problems--specifically, rapid cycling[10] and mixed-state bipolar forms (Table III).[11] Bipolar II diagnoses are possibly more common in women as well.[12] While men and women are reported to be at equivalent risk for bipolar illness disorder overall, women characteristically have relatively longer depressions and briefer manias than men.[13]

There are more bi-polar women than there are men. I think some studies have shown that it's sex linked, so it's in the X gene, so most women tend to have it.

No. There is no statistically significant difference between the number of bipolar men and bipolar women. The people saying otherwise are talking out their ***.

The percieved "moodiness" of women is nowhere near the magnitude of bipolar. Bipolar can impair you beyond functioning.

For some reason, people like to throw around bipolar like it's a new trend without having any idea what they're talking about.

Yes, all women are biologically tethered to a state of permanent emotional-retardation. As such, the likelihood of developing bi-polar disorder is heightened amongst them.
