yes, hate is such a strong word...you should never say you hate something only that you really dont like it... No matter how much your parents piss you off or however bad they treat you..deep down they love you even if they dont say it ... and you know you dont hate your parents..you just dont like the way they do things or the opinions they have about you...because in the end when they are lying on their death beds you know you will be sad and upset..so take the time now and try and talk to them more and show them that you care

Well, hating is bad for you, but being angry is normal, depending on the degree and quality of your anger.
Everybody gets angry at their parents, especially teens, which I guess you are because of the vagueness of your question. In the teens, we have very intense emotions; it is the most emotional part of most people's lives. So, try to keep things in perspective.
Sure, be angry, but remember they have done good things for you too. Don't do anything that will ruin your life.
Try to be honorable even when you are full of wrath.
If you don't totally ruin your relationship with them, it will get much better in a few years when you become independent of them.

It's actually pretty normal. I think most kids go through a period where they think they hate their parents for one reason or another. Instead of seeing them as your parents and hating them for not being perfect, see them as people who are not perfect and who will make mistakes. Believe it or not, parents are people too and they don't have all the answers. Sometimes they're just as scared as their kids. Try looking at them differently and see if that helps.

Yes. You need to at least tolerate your parents and it would be really good if you could work out your problems with them. If you hate your parents, then it will change your relationships with other people.

Like people have said...it depends on why you hate them.

I mean if they just told you that you were adopted and they bought you for 2 bucks....then I'd be mad.lol.

or if one of your parents abuses you physically/mentally/emotionally then you would have a reason to.

But if youre just a teen like me...your bound to say that you hate your parents PLENTY of times during your teenage years. I've said it alot of times but i dont really mean it. Cuz if it was up to my parents they couldve had an abortion or killed me or did anything to get rid of me. But they didnt and theyve done plenty of things for me.
So if you have a good reason to "hate" them...then yeah.

Why do you hate your parents? are you a teenager, and your angry at your parents for something maybe being to strict? Are they abusive? It would have helped if you gave more information.
