I very vaguely remember reading something about time going by quickly for one kind of person and time moving slowly for another. I turned 24 today, 9 minutes ago officially. It feels like time is flying by so quickly, as if days just run together. It feels like just yesterday I was 18 and just starting out. What does Islam say about this? I know it says something, but can't remember. Thank you in advance for the helpful and respectful answers.

The Holy Messenger related that at the end of times like what we are experiencing now, time will fly extremely fast. If I am not wrong wallahu a'lam, he said that (compared to the time then about 1400 years ago), a year would feel like a month, a month like a week, a week like a day.

I'm sure some Sufi syaikhs would say the blessings of time has been taken away from most of humanity. That's why in this day and age, whatever worship little we do, will be rewarded insyaAllah tremendously by Allah Almighty due to our intention and effort as related in one Hadith.

If however we can achieve much works (in the way of Allah be it wordly or spiritual) in a short span of time, it means that Allah has 'expanded' time for us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOuuuuuuuuu?UUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!
Anyway, it does say some' about time, a hadith says the prophet said:" Time will pass much quicker." what he mean't was time will seem to move faster, but really it is not. Because of technology like, fast cars, trains, planes etc. and tv, games, etc.
time is being lost.

I'm not sure of what is mentioned about time in the Quran but I have read from somewhere else that one of the signs of Qiyamat is that time will go much more quickly.
