Actually, I'm not sure about lighting books. Try these sites. They will help. Dont forget their archives.

I have two books that I like a lot for learning about lighting. The first one, Basic Studio Lighting by Tony Corbel, covers the basics and gets into some of his own approach to background lighting, etc. There are some nice illustrations showing the effects of various light modifiers, the direction of light on the subject, etc. Good, straightforward book.

The other book I have is Photographing People: Portrait, Fashion, Glamour. This book basically has 100 photographs along with diagrams and descriptions of how they were lit. There are some really great photos in there and it is always interesting to see what people have done.

go to chapters and in the photog section there are a good half dozen or so. I have loads of books from different authors but none that are specific to lighting. I was however there last week and almost bought one. I think it was called the complete book on lighting and it was pretty big. I might go back and grab it.
