i utterly CRINGE when i hear that line.
am i the only one that HATES it????? esp when i hear a guy do it.

I don't mind as much when I hear a child say it. However to hear adults say it makes me cringe too. And I really hate for it to be used as an apology.

Example:

Me: "I let you drive my car, which had just been detailed. It came back with mud all over the floors and some kind of lint all over my seats. Besides that, the windows were all dirty. I paid a lot to get the car detailed."

Other person: "Oh, my bad."

Now come on what kind of apology is that.

well, yeah, it is pretty annoying. if everyone knows someone did a mistake, what's the point of saying so?
