Hi there, I would think the flavoured water would be ok, but not all the time as it does contain aspertaime, a questionable artificial sweetener, or sugar substitute. Not harmful in small amounts, but too much aspertaime, in some studies has shown that people are getting sick from it. There was an article that stated that large amounts of aspertaime injested in he body and when it gets heated over 98. degrees that it turns into wood alcohol in the body, and is making people not feel well, like headaches dizziness, nausea people are feeling these things and they really don;t know why, meanwhile they just had 2 diet pops this morning both laced with aspertaime, i think flavoured water in moderate amounts but if you want flavoured, try cutting fresh lemon or lime, orange wedge, and try to stick to just plain old water.

Flavored water usually contains some kind of sweetener. If that sweetener has no calories, then neither does the water. But to say it's just as healthy is a bit much. Many artificial sweeteners are not very good for you. So if you don't mind plain water, that's the way to go. But flavored waters are still better than sodas or other heavily sweetened beverages.

They are usually fine, as long as you don't drink them 24/7. Some contain aspartame (not sure if that's spelled correctly), which is used as a diuretic by doctors. There's not much of it, but if you binge on the water you can feel those affects. I think sulacrose (not sure if my spelling is correct, again) is supposed to be better for you - it tricks your body into thinking that it's going to receive sugar and then it turns itself into a compound that the body cannot digest upon reaching the stomach. Still, I've heard that it makes you feel more hungry later, due to its deceptive nature. But, it is approved by the FDA, and all diet sodas have it - moderation is the key to everything.

It may be delightful, but frankly nothing is as good as God's own natural water. Only pure water contains no calories. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. - Psalm 68:19. Peace and God Bless.

I asked the same question a while ago, and although i still don't understand quite why, it isn't good for you. Apparently when you add stuff to water, it takes away what makes water, water.

In small to moderate quantities, it is absolutely fine...but mind the fact that it does have Nutrasweet.....which in super large quantities can raise your resistance to insulin.
