No. I think he is a flirt and he likes you and your friend. I think he wants it to seem like he is treating you special. Basically I think this guy is a flirt and only wants sex in a way. I do not think that he is into you like you think. I say leave this guy alone. If he was really into you when you asked about dating he would not have said that you both are better off as friends. I think that he said this because he actually likes another girl. Don't be surprised of it does not work out then he may be asking you if you want to go out. Anyway I just think this guy is a flirt.

I agree too. This one dude who use to like me back in the day, would always ask "what do u look 4 in a guy?" I hated it. Don't ask me what I'm lookin' for, Because either u got it or u don't. Askin' me won't change the way I feel about you.
