My favorite is Vazgecemem by Tarkan -- it was our wedding song.
Close after that is Samanyou (Bir sarkisin sen) & Kayahan's Bizimkisi bir ask hikayesi. Biz ayrilamayiz.

Oh there are thousands of romantic Turkish songs. I am trying to remember some now.
1- Şimdi uzaklardasın (Zeki Müren)
2- Seni Seviyorum (Kayahan)
3- Asiye
4- Divane Aşık Gibi
5- Any song by Nilüfer
6- Old songs of Sezen Aksu (Gitme dur..)
7- and finally an old song that I can't remember its name but it was like this: "Diz çöküp yalvarayım, bırak dizinde ağlayayım..."

There are so many...

I could say , for example, those ones which are real master of piece melodies, for me...

- "Tükenecegiz", by Sezen Aksu
- " Karaagaç", by Levent Yüksel
- " Sus", by Izel ( with featuring vocals by Ufuk Yildirim )
- " Yüregim Agliyor", by Askin Nur Yengi
- " Haykiris", by Kenan Dogulu
- " Affet ", by Tayfun (or also the version by Nalan )
- "Merhaba Hüzün", by Melis Sökmen

And so many others...I would also have to say many old songs from Sezen (" Geri Dön", "Sen Aglama", "Belalim", "Beni Unutma",...)

I like these songs so much, that I can even listen to them on "repeat mode" during hours, on maximum volume...

Daha- Candan Erçetin

Bile Bile -Sezen Aksu

bir arada olabilmek ne mümkün
bir arada kalabilmek imkansız
seneler alıp gitmiş
ne var ne yoksa her şeyi
inanılmaz, değişen ben miyim
inanılmaz, bu yabancı da kim
sen misin böyle uzak
veda sözleri söyleyen
geri dönmek inan işten değil
hani var ya tutamazsın kendini
bir ümitle "ya olursa?.." dersin hep
bile bile her şeyin bittiğini
sonradan kor sonradan kor
ayrılıklar an be an
akıp gider akıp gider
zaman sana aldırmadan...

Good choice, Dellarovere..

Oh come on, Serial Suspendee!:) You are giving a bad name to Turkish music! Tombul tombul memeler, indeed.

I have more than one that I like to listen, but no single favorite. I like an Azeri türkü, Ayrılık, and a Maçka türkü, Divane Aşık Gibi... They are both sung for guys gone away for work and express the pain of the women that stay behind.
