Yes. Get a scrub mitt for face & body.
Soak your face with warm wet fabric for about 10-15 minutes. I like to do this in the tub.
Then put some gentle soap or basic moisturizer, like Lubriderm and gently scrub your face.
If you do this every 2 or 3 days your skin will be as smooth as any exfoliating cream, but much gentler and definitely cheaper.
Be careful not to scrub too hard, and if you're prone to break outs you may want to chase the scrub with a little dabbing of peroxide to sterilize any minor scratches. Then follow with a basic skin moisturizer like Lubriderm.
If you can't use any moisturizers at all, just do the scrub, but only every 3 or 4 days.

i don't think so. even skins that are already smooth are affected by weather and generally by your life conditions. but using skin products isn't a bad thing and it doesn't mean they have to be chemical ingredients. u should prefer using products with natural ingredients and that aren't tested on animals. great are "the body shop" products. a scrub and a body butter are essential for your skins health..

To make it WAY softer (I know it sounds crazy, but try it!), put honey on your face, wait five minutes, and wash it off. Also, gently exfoliating your face everyday with a wet cloth helps. Drinking lots of water and keeping yourself hydrated completely helps.

take vitamins or eat lots of fruit in recommended amounts. I like to wear oil free moisturizers with SPF15 or higher (to protect cell damage on skin) and drink lots of water as well to eating (most of the time) right.

Well, if you don't already, start by drinking a lot of water and eating things like Avocado and foods with good oils in it. I love lotion though.
