I'm in a rather confusing situation. There's this guy that i fancy at ballet, and, well, whenever we're both in the studio he looks at me quite often, and once, when I was dancing and he was watching, he caught my eye and smiled... but I wasn't sure if the smile was directed at me, so I didn't return the smile...
He's got a female dance partner, and they seem rather close, even when they're not partnering in dancing... he was helping her with softening her pointe shoes and like, using this massage thing to massage the back of her thigh..
The other day, the teacher asked him to help her with the students, and i was one of them... she asked him to lift me up, and he was sorta like, smiling, when he saw it was me... ?!? I have no idea...
I don't know what to think... It's all so confusing!
Am I just making things out to be bigger than they actually are?

It sounds like he has an interest in you.
Especially when he's looking at you, making eye contact, and then smiling. He's definitely showing you that he likes you.
You need to make sure that you smile back at him.
That will let him know that you are interested in him too, and then see where it goes from there.
He may not be interested in his partner as for "liking" her, it may just be because she is his partner they have to grow some type of connection in order to be a good dancing partner.
That might be all that it is with her.

Girl be it straight . I to once had this situation and guess what we are together . Just go and talk to him . At that time he was just making u jealous or may u didn't smile at him that can also may be the reason . One way , go and ask him and don't get confused . All the best.

OoOoOo... sounds good!! haha just talk to him... hang out during brakes and stuff... or talk to his partner and get to know her, slowly bringing up the subject *i.e. him*... it's always good to make sure the guy is free before doing ANYTHING... lol... but if u really want him to like u... flirting is the way to anyone's heart <3 good luck

You have a crush on a guy, if you really want to know if he feels the same way about you, just try to talk to him one day, maybe even get his number or give him yours, see where it goes from there.

I had something like this kind of happen to me.
The best thing to do is to just ask if their in to you.
Even if it breaks your heart.
It's better to know then look afar.
