Hi,
I have never dyed my hair before, but want to just take the plunge and go for it! Has anyone ever used this box/brand before? What were your results? I know a lot of the time it doesn't look like what the box said it would look like, but I am hoping that this one will! Thanks.

my best advise to you is to let a pro do it since it is your first time. Never trust the box colors b/c it doesnt tell you exactly what the base colors are and stuff like that. so you never really know what your getting yourself into. But who knows, it may look good this one time. but for people that arent experienced with hair color prob shouldnt try it on their own. but good luck anyway

also another reason y it isnt good to do it ur self is b/c in those boxes (let say you have blonde hair and you want to do an ash brown or blonde) people that dont have experience in color would just pick any old color b/c they believe it would look like the picture and they dont know about base colors. that base color could be a ash blonde which WOULD turn your hair purple seeing that you arent canceling out any color, instead you are adding that base b/c the ash has a base of purple. I learned alot about color when i was in cosmetology. Believe me, it helps. So go to a pro.

I used this crap on my hair when it was blonde to dye it red, and I ended up with purple hair. Honestly, please go to a professional hair care salon because store bought hair dye has waay to many harsh chemicals in it that increase in intensity after they sit for a long time. Also, I've noticed in the past when I used store bought hair dye, My hair would fall out alot and get split ends way to easily, so my hair became really fine and fly-away. Finally, after 6 years of doing it on my own (I'm an ashy dark blonde and I would always lighten it to an alomost bleach) I finally went to a salon to have my botched purple hair trimmed and stripped of it's color, and I could'nt of been happier with the results. I get my hair done professionally to this day, and I've noticed little hairs coming back around my forehead hairline and my hair does'nt fall out hardly ever, and my hair grows quicker and is a lot thicker. It maybe more expensive to get it done professionally, But trust me, it's worth it.

I did. It fried my highlights. I have dark auburn hair, very fine in texture. I have to leave my perms in for only 2 minutes. Very delicate hair.
