I know a lot of people fall for it, but there are two Abrahamic religions that make this claim. They both can't be right, and they both claim the other is wrong. Neither accepts that the other religions of the world are could possibly be as valid as they are. Neither can provide proof of their claims. So, essentially, aren't religions like these really just promoting their brand over others through false advertising?

In the case of the two Abrahamic religions that claim exclusive access to Heaven & God, isn't it even more true considering that the original Abrahamic religion does not make such claims?

utuk, I'm not talking about the people, I'm talking about the words contained within their texts. If I were talking about the people you would be absolutely correct (and I would apologize for making that assumption). As it is, I apologize for not making that absolutely clear.
As for my exposure to all three, I've grown up around two, and have recently started learning of the other. I freely admit that I have much more to learn, but of this I am sure.

Islam:
It is easy to confuse the Tenents of these Abrahamic, Urish, SOLar religions with the actions of its members and assume that the actions of the members are equal to the Tenents.
To avoid going to far out there, in the statement:
"______ is the only way to (Heaven/God)"
You will note that it is ABsolutely True. Immediately, the mind may be boggled by such statement, however, when we deal with GOD we are dealing with an ABSOLUTE and ALL pervading force, which does not conform to the rules of material. IT is infact in ALL things, animate and inanimate. Therefore if you put ANY word in the above blank, it would be equally true PROVIDED that the Seeker was actually looking for GOD. In which case, The SEARCH would start within oneself. That is all I will leave for any True Seekers.
On a side note, These Religions are largely ALLEGORICAL and each side simply wishes to corner the market on it in order to claim being Original, HOWEVER, if anyone would read a Book or two on Religion AS WELL AS their assigned book for the journey, We will see that the ESSENCE of the ALLEGORY is as Timeless as Man Himself.
Even the Names of the CHARACTERS are allegorical.

I trust you're speaking of "the way of the righteous to be granted entry into the Heavenly Father's house is by good deeds," etc.?
It is covered more clearly in the New Testament. Call a Reverend or Pastor of a local church and they'll be happy to explain it. Or perhaps this is God's way of calling you into the fold. who knows? could open a few doors for ya! Try it, you might just have your eyes opened!
P.S. Since A.D. means After the Divinity, it is universally known in religious circles that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. And you must believe on him to have life everlasting and be granted a place with the Heavenly Father after death, as such he was. He left us his spiritual code and unless we follow him, we are damned. But, aside from what Pope Benedict recently lauded, Jesus went throughout the lands respecting all peoples and all faiths, not swearing up and down that his was the only one, he just gently lived. Most people who don't understand what he was about are clueless to that fact.
That's why there is the Trinity and we are supposed to pray ending with: "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen." There's a reason for that.

I am small chested, very small chested. I have always wore padded bras to fill out my shirts because a bra with no padding just does not do it. It's not false advertising unless you get the Victoria Secret's miraculous bra. A little padding also pushes up your breasts and keeps them perky. Even though us small chested women do not have to worry about our breasts sagging. Go for it, your boyfriend should not care. It'll boost your confidence and that will be sexy for him. I find that miraculous bra to be a joke. It makes you look a cup bigger which is false advertisement. A bra with normal padding is not false advertising because it doesn't makes you look a cup or two bigger. You might as well just get breast implants if you are that insecure about being small chested to go for a $60- $80 bra that makes you look a cup bigger and then the next day wear a normal bra. Your boyfriend should be saying no to that bra if your breasts are fine to him. That bra alters your figure.

And what, exactly, is the limit of your experience with these three Abrahamic religions? There are members of all three who are exclusive, and there are members of all three who are inclusive. Considering the lack of any definitive organizational structure or official spokesmen for the faiths in question, it seems a little presumptuous to speak for billions of individuals.

there are 3 abrahamic faiths....
the god of the bible prooved himself already...in front of recorded witnesses.....you were just not there...
it is true that most people tend to NOT believe until they have proof for themselves.....many people in the past and present have had this proof.....so i hope that you also get this opportunity as well....
this proof will only be convincing if it is personal...not just words on paper....
I have been blessed enough to experience the proof i needed...i hope the same for you ...soon....

hello,,someday when you are older and wiser and not so confused you will know the answer to your own question, seek and you will find , ask and it will be given to you,as for the false advertising line ,you must be a pro at false knowledge even to think of a thing like that , someone should perhaps show you what "I rebuke you satan" really means.

If you have faith, no proof is needed, if you have no faith then no proof will suffice. God, Jesus, Heaven and Hell cannot be scientifically proven. Faith cannot be proven. Love cannot be proven. You either have it or you don't. If your wife or husband claims that he or she loves the other, can you prove it scientifically. No, you just believe it because you have faith in that love. You may not believe in God, BUT HE BELIEVES IN YOU !!! God bless you and I pray you find your faith before it is too late. If you do not believe in God, you will believe once you get to Hell.

You can't sue a religion for "false advertising"....
I went to a mosque and talked the leader guy about the religion, and I was like...OK? and decided it wasn't the right one...

not necessarily. can you prove that both are making false claims? maybe everyone goes to the god of their choice. eh? unlikely, but possible.
