Is it possible we can all unite as one and forget all differences? Is it possible we can forget everything for a while, and remember that we will all die one day eventually... and that our time on earth should be peaceful and serene, so that when we pass others remember us for our kind heart.
I agree there is a lot of intolerance and crime out there.. a lot of differences in race/religion etc... BUT...
Today I was in the park with some children I was babysitting. They are all about 3-8, and there are 3 Muslim children and 4 non-Muslim children. It was so nice to see them play together and enjoy each others company..
I know we are not children, and I know complete and eternal unity and tolerance is a fantasy... but do you agree that before anything we are human.. we all hurt and all bleed.
How about we live and let live.. stop generalizing.. and accept the individuals rather than people who are disgracing Islams and other religions names?

Oh dear, baby innocence. You know what, I was not surprised when you told you babysit, this affected you so much, for me, it's my highest pleasure time when I'm with children for just what you said, they are too innocent to hate, even with their differences, they let them aside and love each other. Even some of us embrace such a beautiful idea, there will be always others who are sincere allies for Satan.
Sorry dear, I completely got your point, but I tried to be realistic. Even if this will make you neglect my answer to choose as the best one, but I'm used to be honest in every thing, especially in presenting my viewpoint.

I think you're right. I mean, I'm a Christian, but if we all put our differences apart for a moment, who knows what we could accomplish. Even though the Bible says that there are a lot of bad htings in the future to come before peace i think even for 1 week we were all united, the world could accomplish anyhting. I agree with you, and even this is an exmaple of how we should unite if 2 completely different people with really different belifs and finding some ocmmon ground proves a lot so.

I don't know what it would take for all members of every faith to open there minds and hearts to all other religions and accept our differences peacefully. I think there will always be at least a few people of any faith who hold on to grudges and make universal peace impossible. BUT I do believe that the majority of people are more tolerant than those loudest few, and we can find that peace in our our relationships with others around us. It sounds like you are one of those people who should have no problem accepting others beliefs and finding others who can accept yours. Just keep eyes and heart open and you'll find lots of us out here. Just don't let the few intolerant people make you close yourself to the world.

As my blast says on 360 "if you cannot find paradise at your own center then there is not the smallest chance that you might enter." We must first love and accept ourselves as we are made, given our different customs, languages and ethnicities and diverse experiences; then we must remember that love is what we do in life--- love of an eternal life force, love toward self and others---we must demonstrate our love as much as possible with bold yet peaceful acts of self actualization even as we respect, honor, and seek understanding in those same intended acts by others. Misconduct and destructive deeds are the enemy of good people with reasonable differences everywhere. Life is not a style... in sexual orientation or dress or dialect of language... it is how we preform on the whole ,leaving room for understanding human failing and fragility , so we can learn and readapt to challenges inorder to lift each other up to the better not withstanding fleeting customs, styles, or tastes. We are all put here to be unique and condribute the best of what is our special gifts and experiences so that we can mirror and reflect a greater whole which is more profound than all of us put together.

Unless we all become like those little children you were babysitting, we can never enter the kingdom of God. Or Allah. Or any other nice place after death.
You have shared a very good message. It may take some time, but it is never impossible that people unite and live for a common goal - peace.

Peoples religion, Race etc shouldn't make any difference to how they get on.
How you described the children there is great, because while in many aspects they are nieve they appear to know more than us adults dont they? They get something we don't.
If only the world was that tolerant, its sad that Children have to grow up to hate others because of pressure from adults or because its the only way to survive in their eyes. Its usually a minority with the problems too.
Regards and nice Question btw.

It's great how kids can play together.
But there is no such thing as a Muslim child or a Non-Muslim child there are only children with Muslim parents or Non-Muslim parents.
I despise the religious branding of children, whatever the religion... it is abusive.
Religious affiliation is always going to breed division, once you say I am this religion or that religion you are setting yourself apart and becoming exclusive...that wall goes up between you and others.

The only way there can be any unity with the Islamic religion according to Wafa Sultan an American psychologist is to re.examine the coriculum of the Koran and take out the mythical writings of a false prophet that only preaches violence rape and oppression of woman and children, she is a vary out spoken woman that speaks out against the Koran and it's mythical message check her out.

The universe is in unity.
The stars and the sun and the moon live in unity.
The planets live in unity.
The birds of the air live in unity.
The fish of the oceans live in unity.
The insects of the earth live in unity.
It is only man that does not live in unity.
Only when man roots out the dark qualities within the heart and Imbibes Gods qualities within, can man hope to live in unity. This would be a good thing!
May Gods Grace enfold all of mankind and show him the true path that will create unity within what we call life!

That is beautiful- too bad we are human. It will never happen, it can in small instances but achieving world peace without some kind of force or mass drug use, is very unlikely. Being human is to immediately react with a negative or defensive response, some people have learned to overcome that.
Honestly, I love to judge people, i love to stand back and observe and make my opinions. Then I let them prove me wrong-unfortunately, most do not. What you said sounds wonderful to the heart but to the head-is another story. BB/93
