Through a relationship.
God communicates to me through His Word, and I communicate to him through prayer.
That is how God and I communicate with each other.

Great question! I communicate with God in many different ways. Some times, when I am reminded of His love toward me, I sing Him a 'LoveSong'. I have also sent Him helium balloons with Father's day messages on them! Often times it is through mental or vocal conversations with Him. A lot of times He has caused His Word to open 'right to the answer' of a question I had just asked Him. I have written Him letters on paper. As well as poems. One of my favorites is through praising & worshipping Him, because I can feel the joy of His presence the strongest then. Once in a while, I serenade Him for an hour or two, with my multi-insrumental musical 'Q-Cord. I figure He created variety for us, why not bless Him back with it! Besides even I would get bored with the same thing every time. When you're in Love, you're always tryin' to think of new ways to surprise the one you love, right? Same thing! Go for it! I just talk, when i am alone I talk to him and my loved ones who passed on- sometimes if people are around, I communicate telepathically (through the mind).
Honestly I think I talk to my lost relatives more than i talk to God and that is probably not a good thing.

It's best to communicate with God via a cow or some other ruminant. A cat might suffice.

Through prayer (conversation) with Him! I pray with an opened heart and an opened ear!
I love to be alone and in prayer with Him as I can feel His peace and presence upon me. It makes it very easy to open up the deepest creveses within my heart...where none are welcome but, God! I pray with all my heart, soul and mind!
Truly, there is nothing like being in His presence when you are open and submitted...surrendered to His will.

Through the power or prayer, believing and knowing he is here, there and everywhere! God is in all of us who believe. Sometimes I'll just talk to him too.
