Ok, here is what we do:
1. Go to a good hairdresser, and cut about a centameter or two to get rid of the already fryed hair.
2. Try to wash it as little as possible, and with this: http://www.paullabrecque.com/Masque-Age-Recharge-68oz-P227C218.aspx as conditioner (directions on the box). and this:http://www.paullabrecque.com/Repair-Shampoo-80-oz-P443C122.aspx for shampoo.
3. I know it's much less convinient, but if you can it would help a lot if you blow-dryed your hair instead of using a flat-iron.

I suggest that you use a deep penetrating cream conditioner once a week and a conditioning shampoo once a week. For the conditioner, I suggest you massage into scalp and hair and sit under a dry for 20 min. with a plastic cap.
I believe that the medicine that you are taking could be the cause of your hair because what you put into your body can go into your hair, nails, skin and urine. I know that there is an at home lab testing kit that you can send off to a lab to see what's in your hair. Also, you can go to a drug store and get some acid test strips to see what is in your urine.
My mother has gotten off all her medications including the blood pressure. Did you know that some of these drugs can store up in your body as poison and make you sicker? Not only that, it can block healthy nutrients from absorbing correctly. A good natural detox program from a licensed natural doctor is highly reccomended.
When you balance your body, especially the inner body, it will love you for it. Look in to all natural medicines it may benefit you greatly and especially for your hair.
Note: Until you get rid of all those Pharmaceutical drugs out of your system, I have a feeling nothing will work the way you want. My moms hair was the same way and now it's no longer breaking.
Hope this helps!

I would recommend cutting off a few inches. Its what I had to do, and it gives you a whole new look. Because it isnt likely that you will find a good treatment, sorry to say. Try not to use the flatiron so much, instead after a shower apply some mousse in the hair the direction you want it to go and let dry.

Make your own shampoo for dry hair by mixing 1 cup of inexpensive baby shampoo with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. This works very well mate... Good Luck with it.

i think you shouldnt wash it every day, because when you do, all of the vitamins and oils get washed away, and your hair needs some of those oils, and i think you should use a moisturizing shampoo ,

conditioners are my only suggestion. You are trying things to moisturize your hair but styling your hair with straighteners will of course dry it. Try a leave in conditioner.
