Why is it so taboo?
EVERY WOMAN HAS A MENSTRUAL CYCLE!
Get used to it men! I once had a friend who's boyfriend dumped her after three months of dating because she mentioned something about her period and it was "too much information" for him. That's just ridiculous.

i think its the boys that can't understand the important of it...
not the men... your friend "boy friend" just too immature to accept the fact of it.. he is not grown-up enough to be a real boyfriend..the type that willing to take really good care and love his girlfriend and wife dearly..

so..! tell those immature "boys"..teach these dumb creatures...teach them the real life cycle of women..

tell them why women have period and if they can't accept these facts then they are just too "small" to understand..

Women not on hormonal contraception are having periods because they ovulate every month. If you’re not on the Pill or any other manner of hormonal contraception and you’re having a period every month on your own, you’re having those periods because you’re ovulating every month. In other words, you’re releasing an egg. During that natural cycle the hormone levels do go up, and what they’re doing is preparing the inside lining of the uterus for pregnancy. And then when you don’t get pregnant that month, you shed the lining and it repeats the process over and over and over again. So when you’re having a period every month on your own, your body, every month, is getting ready for pregnancy.

Bella I suppose for the immature kids and/or young adults this is very much a taboo subject and one they'd rather avoid. Fact of life is though as sure as I am breathing as I type this is something that God has blessed women with and as such is a reality of life. Once guys hit their thirties, majority of them anyway, it is just as common to discuss as football. But for the fella's who think they are too macho to hear of such a thing (cause their poor ears must be over sensitive) it is their loss. A woman at this time of month is often very vulnerable and can use their man's support and encourage more then ever. Just a little life lesson I thought I might pass on to other males.

If an adult male can't handle a period...then he's too immature to keep around for any amount of time. When it comes time for that male to want kids...he'll be thanking his lucky stars that a kind woman out there had menstrual cycle functions so his baby can be born; unless he adopts, of course.

Menstrual synchronicity is in all probability a relic from our much less developed previous. The benefit would be extra advantageous genetic variety by ability of making it extra durable for a dominant male to mate effectively with all women. for this reason people who mated with different adult males would be extra possibly to get undivided secure practices (classic male functionality) from those specific adult males. in basic terms a sprint hypothesis as to why nature would have completed this for the curious. If none of those women human beings on your place of work gave off pheromones the respond would be uncomplicated.

I totally agree. In marriage there is bound to be a time when the woman is really sick and she needs the husband to go to the store and buy a feminine product. Guys should just get used to it...it is nature for gosh sake

I don't know.

But I think it's along the lines of guys masturbating...they all do it, but no one says anything. And besides, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be disturbed about people talking about their bodily fluids...however, if it's something like "Why are you so moody?" and you tell him you're on your period, then he shouldn't be p'o'ed about it. Or really disgusted.
