I had a past with a lot of misdeamers and 2 felonies on my record. And was wondering if I get them expunged ? And a lot of Driving Under the Influence. Somebody told me NO. But I was told yes. And I live in Ohio If so, how can I go about getting it started. I'm open for ideas.

As I read the Ohio Code linked below, you must be a 'first offender' to apply to have your record expunged. Read for yourself to see if I missed anything. You care more than I do.

Getting your records expunged can be a difficult process. You will have to appear in Common Pleas court and show good cause why they should be. With a lot of misdemeanors and two felonies, then with a lot of DUI convictions, you shouldn't get your hopes up because it probablly won't happen.
Considering your past record, many judges could consider you a career criminal... even though you are not. Live with your past and try to correct your future behavior. I live in Ohio as well, and with the years I spent in Law enforcement, it doesn't look promising.
However, it can happen. I would suggest that you talk to a criminal lawyer and get his/her advice or opinion. There are lawyers in Ohio that specialize in this and you may get lucky.
Good luck

As stated in numerous past posts, you cannot expunge a criminal record unless the superior court of jurisdiction of the crime deems the crime not to have occurred or you are pardoned by the Governor or president. Both happen regularly if you have a good reason and have already served the sentence, like the want to vote or to go in the military.
