I live in Florida and have two toddlers and at the very least would pay someone $10/hour. I really don't think that is unreasonable.

You should charge $7 per hour plus $2 for any additional child. So you'd ask for $11 and hour. It's reasonable for the parents and is what you deserve for watching the kids, especially the 5 month old.

I hope I could help!

I'm a day care provider in Iowa ... one of the cheapest places to live and I charge 2.50/hr for the first child and 1.00/hr more per each additional child... would be 4.50 in this case. However being in Cali, my mother in law's sister gets that for just one kid! I would say based on that rate, 6.50 or even 8.00 would be a good estimate. If you are unsure call a couple centers and see what they would charge hypothetically if you enrolled your 3 children.

Are you a teenager? If so, I would say $6 - 7/hr.

If you are older than 18, I would say $8/hr?

I don't think you'll really have to watch the 12 year old that much?
