if singapore and malaysia were to go to war, who would win?

of course, you would need to know the advantages of both countries.

singapore has decisive and advanced technology. malaysia is big in size but techology wise, really bad. singapore though small in size, has a 750000 men army, while malaysia has only 350000.

who will win

Neither, wars dont create winners, just different types of losers.

Malaysia could inflict serious preemptive damage to Singapore potentially crippling its ability to fight back through unconventional methods. Singapore can also do the same using conventional methods. So whoever starts it will likely win but their is no advantage in doing so in this day and age.

Wrong forum I think!!!

It is extremely unlikely it would ever come to war. The ramifications would be too great. Economic and and strategic sanctions would be more likely if relations were ever strained to that point. If Malaysia denied Air Space to Singapore it would virtually close Changi Airport. If Singapore closed the border to Malaysians working in Singapore it would be a tremendous hit on Jahor Bahru Economy.

Singapore may have 750,000 man Army but how would they deliver them to Malaysia? That's also not a standing Army but includes the reserve forces that would have to be mobilized.

Singapore has the technological advantage in Submarines and Missiles but their deployment against Malaysia would not be decisive.

If there was a preemptive strike it would more likely be Singapore. Malaysia would have a harder time justifying it in world opinion because of the size difference.

The countries are to economically interlinked for their to be a definitive winner.
