i dont know what colors 2 get. i am not girly so i dont like pink. im not getting clear cuz they end up yellow. i am kindof gothic but i dont like the idea of black braces 2 much. i have brown eyes and i am not getting brown braces. i do want color though. our school colors are blue and red but im not into that crap at all though i do like blue, just not dark blue or any blue(or other color) that really stands out. im kindof leaning on light blue+light green or light blue+silver. they dont match anything i wear though cuz most of my clothes r grey, black, red, and a little bit of dark blue. i already have a lisp and im really worried that it will get worse by getting braces. i cant get rid of my lisp(its just how my mouth is formed and i get made fun of) but i dont want 2 be more of a loser. nobody in my grade really has braces except 4 the losers that people hate and make fun of. all the popular kids have perfect teeth and never had braces. im really worried about getting made fun of

Well basically every colour fades so it doesnt really matter.
My sister has turqouise and blue and it looks really nice. makes braces look good,
I had purple which just looked black inside my mouth and then faded to pink and looked horrible. A bright pink isnt good because it looks lik you have mouthwash in your mouth.
But basically it doesnt really matter what colour you get because it will fade anyway.
Anyway. if people are going to ake fun of you then they are so not worth it. I dont get why they would make fun of you. Im sure those people have their own little embarrassing secrets they wouldnt want anyone else to know. I was never made fun of. It doesnt change who you are except it will make you feel better (made me feel better) when you have them off because you will have a beautiful smile!! :) It wont make your lisp worse.
But a tip for colour is tuquoise. Oh yeh and by the way, in my dentist you could get glow in the dark ones so if you like the idea of that then look and see if you can get that!
And i will agree with a user somewhere above me, it takes people ages to realise you have braces and even then they dont know the colours.

the silver and light blue sounds like great colors, and i have a lisp too, i have never had braces but i don't think it will make your lisp worse,and tell those popular jerks that when you get your braces off your teeth are going to look so good,well i hope everything works out ok

You have to ignore people's comments. You can't help it if you need braces, and you don't always get the choice. I didn't want mine because my teeth weren't that bad, but my parents made me. You can't help your lisp either. If they say anything, brush it off. Nobody's perfect. As for colors, don't worry about braces matching your clothes. They aren't that noticeable really. I have people who took months to figure out I had braces.

dont worrie i have braces and im getting them off tomorow
get what ever color you liek they have glow in the dark and all kinds of colors
and if ppl make fun of u look at there teeth at leats urz r gonna b perfect

dont get green, looks like you have food stuck in them. and usually the color is the bands that go over the braces and are usually routinely changed allowing you to change the color frequently..

maybe you should get light blue and silver and if u do get made fun of it is better than living the rest of ur life like the way that u r now

children are children and they make fun of people, don't worry about them. do what you need to do to take care of you.
the colors make it look like you have food stuck in your teeth the plain metal looks far better

White looks alright, and they don't stain really. light colors are always best. and personally i like only one color at a time. looked better. well on me at least.

if you get clear, they will turn yellow with time. however, most people get new ones every 4 to 6 weeks.
