norton antivirus messed up, please help?

i go on to the antivirus thing and click run a scan or something like that and sometimes ill let it run for an hour but it would either scan only 5 things or 0 things


whats wrong with it and how can i fix it

Your computer might have been froze. Try restarting it and running a full system scan. If that doesn't work, then do you have a norton account? You can ask them people for help with their crappy product.

If you have an account with Norton you can go to your account and reinstall the software. All you would have to do is take of the faulty software and reinstall it online.
