San Diego!!!! A beautiful, fun, laid back town. Nice beaches. I just couldn't get over how pretty it was.

Laguna beach. A small artistic community on the beach between LA and San Diego. Great beaches, so good in fact that many have been used to depict tropical islands in movies and commercials over the years. (Including Errol Flynn's Captain Blood)
There are dozens of Great restaurants, Try Partners Bistro, one of my top 10 favorites in the world. Good nightlife with rocking bars and clubs but still... This is a small town and doesn't have the hectic feel of the big city's like SD and LA. You'll love it. Its really beautiful and very cool with many things to do. The art festival is world famous and The Saw Dust festival is a kick. There is also a new park between Laguna and Corona Del Mar that is at Crystal cove. You can stay in old houses that are right on the beach. A good restaurant there too and as secluded a beach as you can get in So Cal. Have fun!!!

Of course, San Diego, so many cool places to visit like Mission beach, that has a boardwalk for roller blades and skaters, even have a roller coaster in the park, La Jolla shores is cool too, Pacific beach, Del Mar... lots of beaches around, that's why I love living here.
