In war, who would win out of the United states vs. China or Russia?

I don't have a clue? It might be a nuclear war, but I don't thnik China has nuclear weapons yet. Although the US has the ability to invade any country in the world? Who knows. I hope neither of these countries ever go to war.

Russia is no threat to us, they cannot afford to pay their troops or even feed them properly! China is a different matter. Sorry, they do have nuclear weapons. Their main advantage over us is by sheer numbers! This was part of our problem in Vietnam, China sent in troops that overwhelmed us! It also happened in Korea, although no one talks about it! We cannot field a military force that would in anyway be able to take on the mass of troops that China has; they are also very well trained. We are great fighters but that just isn't enough. We care about our troops, the Chinese do not; therefore it would be a hard job to beat them, I'm afraid that the only way would be to use a "first strike", & plenty of them!

Well it is said that the Chinese military outnumbers the US 100 to 1. They have a considerably larger air force and can manufacture their weapons at an astounding rate. Their one flaw is the Chinese cannot project their conventional forces as quickly and efficiently as the U.S. In that case U.S. wins. Russia's military is in total disarray.Since the fall of communism their military has fallen by the way side so to say. They still have immense weapons caches and a large surplus of equipment (which they have been selling to other countries) Tactically speaking the US wins again. In a nuclear war all 3 have enough to level the opponent. In that case the US wins again. In a nuclear war only two things survive, Cockroaches and Submarines.

Yes china has nuclear weapons but we outnumber their nukes about 30 to 1. In a conventional war we would win because our superiour technological ability to destroy their millions of soldiers from VERY far away with Apach 30mm cannons or navy Tomohawk missles would prove unbeatable. Also the fact that we now have the F22 Raptor which has almost never been spotted on radar or muchless downed in sims and training would ensure victory in an Air war. It would be an ungly war though.
- not to mention our superior intelligence gathering capabilities. We already know EVERYTHING about their military. They know little about ours.

But thats just a conventional war.
If we entered a NUCLEAR war on the other hand our Effective and superior ANTI-Nuclear missle systems and our MUCH higher number of MUCH hight quality intercon missiles would ensure that we won, but winning wouldnt matter as within a few yrs of those many nuclear detonations, we'd be living in a VERY different world.

If those are the only three countries then I would have to say China and Russia because we would be outnumbered. China has a massive military. In reality we would probably be joined by most of the NATO countries and that would give us a much better chance.

I have little doubt it would go nuke if we got mixed up in China. Putin would not put up with any expansion attempts during the dust up and since he lacks the ground troops that leaves only one option.

As for Russia, they are hard pressed to find ANY allies on the world stage that even matter in this day and age and would fold in near record time.

well the us is good with big weaponry, russian could poison everyone lik they did to that former kgb dude in london last yr or resort to their old standby of pull in and freeze out whereby they take a forgien army into the heart of the country and let em freeze to death, and chinas gotten lik a billion people and neither russia nor the us could match that kinda army but then again both the us and russia have nuks but if it came to that itd b a draw cuz wed all b dead

That depends entirely on the Commander in Chief of the US forces. More specifically, what limits our President places on our forces. We have the raw power to defeat both China and Russia simultaneously. I seriously doubt we currently have the WILL to defeat either.

the USA would win. we could attack any where in the world with our nukes. we have enough nuclear bombs to blow up the worlds landmass seven times. our navy is second to none. the will and bravery of all our soldiers is much greater than any other country. The F22 raptor is faster, more manuverable, and less detectable than any airplane.
