my friend in the phillipines wants to come and work in the uk. It would be great if they could. they don`t really have alot of money and i can`t really help them either where lies the problem. Of course they can stay with me but thats really it. So i was wondering if they could maybe come and work/study here or i`m not sure what else, guess they`re need visa and flight, just wondering the best way to do this.

get them to speak to the british embassy in there country. I doubt they will get a permanent visa. hopefully they can get some sort of temporary work visa which can be expensive plus flights to the UK can also be expensive condsidring the philphines doesnt have the economy the UK has.

what skills etc doe st he person have? if tehy got degree...they might be able to get NHS to employ her/him if she a nurse etc coz they have been doing loads recently but she could get an emplyer frm here support hher wrking visa if she wants to wrk but the employer has to be wiling to take her on then itd be wrkign visa or does she want to go university here and study and acquire skills and wrk at same time then she/he come on student visa i assume. living in country for 5 yrs or even 7 can get them british citizenship some how too i heard.
