What do you think of a long term boyfriend not knowing what color eyes his girlfriend has?

This girl I know was telling me she was upset because she was talking on the phone to her boyfriend of 8 months. Some how eyes came up and he didn't know the color of her eyes. Do you think she has a reason to be upset. I didn't know what to say because my long time ex of 8 years. Used to call me his brown eyed girl. He went out of his way to say how much he loved my brown eyes. He didn't like blue eyes. I know weird but he loved brown.

I think he is the all american male, guzzles beer, likes sports, likes to have things his way, and probably doesn't like doing things with her other than sex.
(He's normal for not knowing, and she's normal for being hurt).
After a year or so of marriage, she will have bigger things to complain about than him not knowing her eye color.
After his bachelor party, have your friend ask him the color of the stripper's eyes!

I think it's nice to hear that your eyes are beautiful.

But I also think there are more important things in a relationship.

Like her favorite food, movie, color. Her best friend's name. that kind of thing.

i think sometime...guys just aren't very "visual" unless you put it "out" there...that's why they like "boobs" so much! haha..

but it's true tho...my ex never pay attention to small things like, what kind of jewelry or any new thing i bought to decorate the house or even new hair!

so..if your friend's bf didnt notice her eye color...it's fine..and it's very very normal!
