ok so ive been with this guy for four years! i love him very much, but i dont feel that i get the same love back. we recently broke up because to me he wasnt ready to be in a relationship... he was my priority and i was just an option to him! i gave him four years of my life i did everything for him! i cant say that we didnt have some good times because we did.... but for everygood time there was 5 bad ones... =( now that i broke up with him he wants to fix things and be right...... what should i do should i just give up on it? i mean he's said it all before! I'm Torn! Please help!

Stop wasting your life on someone who does not treat you well! Good times can be had with just about anyone. You already know the answer to this in your heart - you need to move on, you will miss him and it will hurt like hell at first, but the more time you invest ie:waste in him, the worse it will be.
Please talk to someone and seek counseling of some sort, there is no shame in it, you will need strength to get through this - good luck to you!

well Im going through a similar situation only different circumstances, and before I went throught what im going through I wouldve told u to dump him and keep it moving. But, now ive realized that good relationships take work, A LOT OF WORK! So if you still reallly love him and care for him, and truly deep down in ur heart believe he feels the same then give it a try. If u love him so much after all u guys went through there has to be a reason. But speak to him and always lets him know how u feel, and tell him hes going to have to earn ur trust and everything else from scratch.

4 years is a lot of your life to give to someone who isn't committed to you in the same way. What if you're playing around with this guy and you miss the right one? You know, the one who will ask you to marry him and who will love you and want to grow old with you and sit across the breakfast table from you when you're 70 and your face has laugh lines and your hair is gray? You think this guy is going to want that?
If what you want is different than what he wants, and it sounds like it is, then the best thing you can do for the both of you is to break it off and look for someone who wants what you do and wants you. He is out there.

you should not go after a relationship like that if you feel unloved. you cannot make anyone fall in love with you and by going after the relationship, it literally means that you are trying to make him love you. let him know how you feel and that you care about him, then stand back and wait for his reply. if he doesn't, then that means you need to let him go and move on.
