You either have to forgive and forget or expect to be lied to again... some people change, if you have forgave then forget and move on, only when a lie has occurred again should you loose interest and stop trying to be the GF, or friend... and if it is a family memeber, your just going to have to deal with it and keep some distance with your trust with said person.

It's hard. Almost impossible. You have to let what happened go, completely. Meaning you can't bring it up during fights, and you can't give guilt trips about it. Ignore it in your mind. If it's someone and something small enough worth forgiving.
The longer you pretend it didn't happen, the easier it will be to actually think it didn't.

Most of the time they will lie to u again but if u love this person have trust in them and it will all work out for the good good luck!!!!!!!!!

in reality it will be hard to but just take things slowly. basically just tell the other person little things like you would when meeting a new friend or boyfriend/girlfriend. if you still feel like you can't trust them then tell them or trust your instincts.

I wouldnt.I guess it depends what they lied about.If it was somethin they were embarased about i think it wouldnt be so bad.but if he cheated on you or somethin like that then it would be a big deal and i wouldnt trust them.so i guess its all up to you and the situation.

just forgive them and move on with your life you shouldnt bind up ur life because the person wants to be dishonest and just because you forgive does not mean you have to forget.
