I have an appointment for a facial tommorow so i just wanted to know if they hurt or not?
What do they do?

The actual facial doesn't hurt a bit except if the esthetician does what they call extractions (of blackheads) but it's just like a little pinch. All the rest is amazingly relaxing.
She will clean your face of makeup and use a combination of masques/deep cleansing/ special treatments depending on your age. When I was a teenager I got acne treatments now I get moisturizing treatments. She will massage your face, neck and shoulder area as well.

Expect to be relaxed by it if anything. Some ppl relax so much they go to sleep. It won't hurt at all. The cometician will tell you what to expect before she starts and if she doesn't, then ask her. Depending on your skin's condition will depend what she does. If she does an extraction, you should feel a slight pricking sensation, but nothing to worry about it. ENJOY your day and if you are uncomfortable with anything let someone know.

So, I have this Seventeen magazine about facials, and if your getting the full treatment(like almost everything), I forgot what it was... but it said that there might be some redness, and a little pain :/

no, well, in some ways. ok, so i went and had a facial recently and felt very relaxed, but then the facialist started doing extractions (removing blackheads with a tool). it WAS uncomfortable, but, after he was done, my skin felt incredible, and my blackheads were gone. most of it WILL feel great, but justbe prepared for the extractions. no one told me, so i wanted to give you a heads up. no worries, it is worth it!!!

Yeah the only time it wud hurt wud be during the extractions. While massage they wud ask you if the pressure is right...if you think its kinda harsh you can tell them.All the best you are goin to have a good time:)

no it doesnt its like having a face masager but it depend what facial i guess a face loosen facial or a face tightening and lifting facial

They are really relaxing and you'll feel great after, but it does hurt at times because they pick at your skin. But you'll like it even though it hurts...In the end its worth it!! And for the most part it feels great.
