Why not - Check out the news story below...

It's about a 61 year-old guy who STILL gets his weekly allowance from "mommy" ;););)

nah it's not abnormal. I still live with my parents and I'm 20. It's hard to be on your own before you've established a bank account worth having. Lots of my friends still live with their parents too, we're trying to make it but it's harder now than it has been in the past. If you're 25 and still live at home, then it's a little weird. but not 20.

It just depends on the family and beliefs. in an asian household it might be completely normal for someone to live in their moms and pops house till they're in their 30s.

For the average household, it doesn't seem odd as long as you're working your way through school or saving money to move out. If you're loafing around or "acting" like you're saving up to move out, then it will probably start to get bad in a few years.

No...It depends upon his family's values and income...I had friends who lived with their parents until they were 25, but during this time, they were working hard and putting money in the bank for a deposit for their own home rather than to pay rent for somebody else's mortgage..

No, I'm 24 and I still live with mine. I would say you should be outta there by the time you're 26-30 years old.

usually not if you have financial problems and are planning to move out after high school. you may need to ask your parents to help out with that. in the meantime, you should enjoy their company while they are still around and take responsiblity as well.
