If you are asking if there is any time period after which a person convicted of a felony can possess a firearm in California, the answer is "no." (Penal Code section 12021.) The only way to get that privilege back is with a full pardon from the Governor (and not even then if the person was ever convicted of a felony involving the use of a dangerous weapon). (Penal Code section 4853.17.)

No statues. Or statutes. There may be procedures to petition for restoration of rights, there are in many other states, but knowing the People's Republic of California's attitude toward firearms I doubt they're one of them.

Under US Federal law, felons can NEVER possess a firearm. IF you receive a pardon, that rules may be different.

if you have been convicted of a felony or family violence then it is ten years from the date of conviction.
