I have not asked any.

But I've answered a few in the Zoology subsection (as well as a few big bang related cosmological questions in the astronomy subsection.) I am quite literate in paleo-anthropology, and also fairly familiar with dinosaur cladistics.

Yes... that's right. Evolution accepting (and knowledgeable) Christians do exist... like the one that led the team that mapped the human genome.

Well I never do only because I think their answers are biased no matter how well studied their arguement is or not.

It seems clear to me that evolution stops between one different type of species like a fly and a worm. Or a pig and a horse, and a man from an ape. Never mind the "common anscestor" arguement you get from them.

Also true science i.e. missing fossils especially support the idea of an individually created species from a completely different one like the species I cited above.

The evidence against evolution I cited is called macro-evolution.

But where evolution agrees with Christianity is what is called "adaption" of a species where withiin are the different kinds of one specie. For instance there are many different types of flies; and they all have their unique characteristics. Or different types of ants. Or different races of man. This kind of evolution is allowed for in Genesis 1 where God man one thing after their kind.

This kind of evolution is called microevolution.

That's where I stand on the subject no matter how "unlearned it seems to some people. Even the sciientific evidence supports ie. missing fossils etal support this premise.

God created all things and the science behind it. God created man to be an intelligent creature and to learn all he could about the earth. He allowed man to learn all the scientific disciplines that allowed man to discover the secrets of the universe.

Thanks for letting me vent and express my views. That is a good question.

Never. Why would I? I have studied evolution since high school, taken college level biology courses and read any number of books about it.

It would seem to me that questions, especially in the science section should be for those things that people do not understand.

What my faith says is my personal belief. I see plenty of room in the Bible and in faith for both it and science to co-exist as they have done for a thousand years.

Can you say the same? And if not then why not? What keeps you from being opened minded about faith, and yet expect others to be opened minded about science?

Never. But then again, I don't ask questions about evolution in this section, either.

What's the difference? The answers there will be mostly the same as here from people who believe in the theory, wouldn't they?

And, btw, we are here to talk about religion and such things, and the brillant scientist, wanabees, always seem to come here and bring up the subject.

Is there something you want to know about how humans were created?

Why should I ask science a science fiction question?

i'm specific some Christians do, yet i think of extra often than no longer it is style of a waste of time. the two they do no longer seem to be attracted to gaining know-how of something genuine (even on Y!A), or they only does no longer understand.

I'm not a Christian, but I have. My wife has a MS in Molecular Genetics so I can usually ask her when I'm curious.

I haven't to be honest. It hadn't crossed my mind. I prefer to defend christianity against the attack on the R&S section. I may check to science section out now, thanks
