I just bought this dress, and as always when it comes to weddings, I'm nervous that I'll be dressed incorrectly. It is a garden brunch wedding with attire listed as "casual". I'm hoping not to be overdressed, but I'd much rather be overdressed than underdressed. This is the dress, any opinions would be greatly appreciated:

Thanks for all the answers! To the "vintage" answer, that's completly my style to begin with. To the breast baring answerer, I chose it fully covered for two reasons. One, I have very large breasts but I'm tiny everywhere else (it's an unwelcome God-given gift) so even full-coverage won't distract. But I've already measured so I know I'll fit. And two, I'm coming back from a tropical vacation the very night before so I wanted to guard against any possible tan line scenarios, hence the covered chest.

It is very appropriate for a garden brunch. I think if you carry a nice little purse and wear heels - you'll be fine. Very cute dress.

Dress looks OK as a dress in the abstract, but
1. It's in Hong Kong -- it may take weeks to arrive
2. Maximum bust size is 34" -- is your measurement around your bust, taken over your existing bra at the largest point, as small as that? Most Hong Kong girls have very small or non-existent breasts, so it wouldn't be an issue in HK.
3. It's conventional at a wedding, even a relatively informal one, to show a bit of cleavage.

I'm sorry, did we all see the same dress? I clicked on twice, just to make sure - the yellow one with all the ruffles?
Sorry, it's really not an attractive dress at all - and for a casual wedding, not appropriate at all.
If you like vintage, go for real vintage, and find a beautiful garden-inspired tea-length dress, which will be classy and elegant.

I think it's just perfect....very beautiful! I think the colour works perfectly for a garden brunch wedding! A dress like this could work for any wedding....it's not to casual & not to dressy...just right & believe me cause I've been to TONS of weddings!!!

if you know anything about some power door locks you would know that alot of them DO NOT open from the pass. side of car, they only open from driver side for child safety. if you are wondering if i tried to open the door, I did. regretting something after the fact and not wanting to do something from the beginning are not the same thing....lets hope if you have a daughter or ever have one that something like this do not happen to her and that you don't treat it the same way b/c it's very easy to say 'should've, could've, would've' when it wasn't --- you. have a nice day.

I think it's a good dress. Chances are people might be more casual than you, but there will be people more dressed up than you. This dress is an even balance.

I think it's a very pretty dress, but definitely too dressy for a casual wedding. I think something without ruffles would be a little more casual. Such as a simple summer dress.

It's nice, as long as it won't be too warm if you're outside, But have a back-up dress ready just in case.
